  1. I hope you're joking. Ford did the same thing when they were testing the Flex. They put a new front end on a stretched Freestyle. Now they're doing that with the Lincoln version. No need to worry, the Lincoln MKT will be based on the Flex.
  2. I can't remember which engine it will be, but there will be a new engine of some sort debuting 6 months after the truck's launch, with additional engines following frequently after that.
  3. I agree, I know I've said this several times, but it's a great looking truck.
  4. I figured it was with all the things it did in the video demo. I'm getting tired, so I think I'll go soon. Tata (JLR haha!) for now. I'd say 143 posts and knocking a few people down the post chain is good enough for one day, wouldn't you?
  5. I agree. I think it'd be good for Lincoln to have an Escalade EXT competitor. Maybe Mercury should get one, I dont know though. I agree with you about dropping the B-series.
  6. Sorry, I should've clarified. I've seen that video. I mean a close-up frontal picture like the ones above. I assume that is the 'next-gen' nav system as well (Flex/MKS)?
  7. I see, well, in that case then, I agree with you, it should be illuminated. Maybe Ford figures you're able to feel where the dial is in relation to which illuminated icon it's pointing to?
  8. If it's not his line of work, it should be.
  9. I personally like the new design. If I were asked one thing I didn't like, it'd probably be the overly style tailgate. I think they did a tad too much styling. I also am not a big fan of the extra chrome strip on the bottom of the doors just below the groove. I do like the power deployable running boards though.
  10. 4-door for sure and I read somewhere that the 3-door may be there as well.
  11. I agree. The new nav system (w/ an 8" screen) also gets rid of some of the buttons as well. It cleans things up. I haven't seen a "close up" of the nav model though, I'm going based on a 'distance' picture.
  12. That is the Platinum model, btw, so yes it is the nice one, except it doesn't have a nav system. I don't think that's the nice Tundra interior either (not that it makes a difference) The only difference I can think of is the floor shifter.
  13. I was just reminded how much of a joke the new Tundra is inside and out today after the Ram and F-150 debuts. Both Ram and F-150 put Tundra to shame in every which way, shape, and form.
  14. That's what I was about to say.
  15. I didn't know they released that yet. As you said, they couldn't continue w/ those sort of incentives forever.
  16. So this gives customers another possible reason to consider the F-150. I know I love having the A/C option in our Expedition, I use it all the time. I really dont want a vehicle without them now. To me A/C seats make sense in a truck. After a days work you're hot and want to cool down quickly, they'll only help. Granted, people buying decked out Platinum models likely won't be construction WORKERS, more likely construction managers/higher up positions.
  17. I haven't seen any horsepower or torque specs on any press release yet, unfortunately.
