    2015 Mustang??

I'm afraid IRS is a done deal in the 2015..So hopefully it will be a much better design than the 1999 Cobra.
  2. Sorry I didn't mean to bust your chops...I guess everyone sees it a little differently..I see a little Aston Martin DB9 in this render. I actually like this direction.Having owned numerous 60's,(Boss 429) 70's, 80's, a 2003 Cobra and a 2007 Saleen..I'm totally burned out on the 60's look. Most of my car friends tend to agree with me on this opinion..It may not be a popular one on these boards, but trust me many folks are ready for a daring new design! A Mustang isn't about a 1960's look, it's an idea. An affordable performance car with the basic theme of front engine, long hood and short deck approach. If the car keeps looking as it does today its sales will continue to slide as they have. Time to move the car forward for another memorable 50 years. I can't wait.
  3. Been to the eye doctor lately? Lol..Not a single ounce of Supra from the 70's 80's or 90's. Evos concept yes.
  4. That red car and driver render is maybe the best looking stang since my 69 Boss 429! In my opinion..Can't wait to see how close these artist renders are to the real car. Supposedly that red car is fairly close according to folks in the know.

  10. To bad the U.S. market won't get the really good products like this!
  11. Yes, if you factor in a conservative 15% parasitic drag losses at 609rwhp, it's roughly 91hp lost. So ya, you have a 700hp motor from the factory!
  12. Looks like Ford was spot on or more likely a little conservative!

  14. Good question on the Daisy project. I suspect it's because it was rather homely and not well received on the show circuit. Couldn't make the business model for production. The GR-1 on the other hand was stunning and everyone loved that beast at the shows. I flew out to detroit from Seattle just to see it in person at the Detroit auto show in 05 I believe..
  15. Been thinking about a Superformance Daytona coupe with a 427ci smallblock. That would probably satisfy my need for speed.

    2015 Mustang??

I have a feeling you're wrong.. Because Ford has said the retro Mustang is done... And have given a detailed description, albeit without pictures of the design. They mention evos and Aston Martin design elements to it. That's from upper management, not Ford fanboy's like ytou and me. Just saying, prepare to be shocked!

    2015 Mustang??

Not to shabby..We'll see how accurate they are soon enough.
  19. Well I guess if you don't have name rights it would be silly. Lol.
  20. Pretty sure the next gen Mustang can easily drop 500lbs....Hell, just build it with a carbonfiber tub, with doors, trunk and hood of aluminum . Should get it done! Ofcourse there will be a slight price increase. Lol.
  21. What are your thoughts on a all new Pantera to give the Lincoln brand an image boost? Maybe a high tech. show case for eco-boost and hybrid electric boost ala KERS. Or something unique to lead the world in design and innovation.-PJ
  22. Not sure if this is old news or not. A new record on the strip..And it's a Ford setting it. http://www.dragzine.com/news/don-fezell-makes-history-with-first-8-second-stock-pass-in-charlotte/
  23. That sucks! I have a 1970 4 bolt main with a large roller in it, Aussie heads, and 770 Holley...Just sitting on a stand waiting to drop in something! No smallblock Chebby could ever run with a well sorted 351C!! Remember awesome Bill from Dawsonville? Took an 84 T-Bird an about lapped the competition at MIR..That was the end of canted valve heads! Lol.
  24. Makes it more practical...At the expense of structural regidity .
