  1. Ley's be clear..there are ADM stickers on some F-150s sitting on dealer lots. OR-put on at time of contract when you buy.
  2. Since anything would have been an improvement...it is indeed a minuscule step forward.
  3. The number that seems to be thrown around elsewhere is 25,000. What ever the number-it seems the failures have put owners in some very risky situations. So-we can agree to disagree, but I do predict there will be a recall-whether initiated by NHTSA or "agreed upon voluntarily" by Ford.
  4. This thread will not go any where. As on this forum problems don't exist in the twilight zone......
  5. Agree-the main point is lack of acknowledgment of an issue. You acknowledge it. I do question the interior bits (dashboard, etc.) getting the sun (soon to get worse as summer is coming) blaring down on the same spots since these vehicles are not being moved.
  6. Thank you! You are not in the Twilight Zone! And you make some decent points-Maybe it's just me-But if I'm plucking down $50,000 to $60,000 (or more) on a new F-150 I'm going to be very picky about looking it over before I even sign the finance contract. I wouldn't take delivery of one with a rusty rear axle either.
  7. That's when this forum is like the twilight zone. Very few Broncos on going to sit in the conditions like "The Bronco Dirt Mountain lot". Paint contamination at a minimum is a real concern. This is a legitimate issue- but yet in a twilight zone manner it's kissed off- because it's a problem and can't possibly be acknowledge on this forum. And yes many owners do garage their vehicles. Definitely an alternate reality.
  8. 53,000 vehicles-many outside, many with the sun blaring down on dash boards, interiors and will have paint surface contamination-included at no extra charge. Of course-GM has a similar situation. I'm not buying anything that doesn't have a build date that is pass all this mess. I WILL WAIT.....
  9. Both Hyundai and KIA have a problem that's often quoted on here when a Ford's model volume is less than expected. And that word is "capacity". There has been a wait for both models-with the KIA being exceptionally so-since the model release. On the other hand-the "Edge" was a solution to a problem that didn't exist. You may be right on the price issue as well-IDK.
  10. You will see the proof 18 to 24 months down the road....go ahead and bookmark this page.
  11. Keep repeating and some will believe that. At least there is precedent for that method.
  12. Yea-convince the Koreans, VW and Toyota this the NEW WAY. File that under it's not going to happen. Even right GM is offering incentives on their trucks currently. Granted not big ones but they are there.
  13. When the market gets back to normal and vehicle availability is widespread-those trading in an EcoSport are really going to see low resale values.
  14. The EcoSport is going to be the "Dodge Dart" of Ford. They will be available-on dealer lots for years....
  15. I would think it would be safe to say Ford is/was the least generous with incentives-so yea. Right now -it seems that GM is offering incentives with the Silverado-even if they are small ones currently. In 2018 when I saw the look of the redesigned 2019 Silverado I went down and bought a 2018. It was $12,00.00 off sticker and a good $5,000.00 less than Ford-which swayed my purchase decision.
  16. I fully expect ICE vehicles to be taxed off the road in the coming years. At this point the government is behind it and wants to see "electric transportation" viable. Interesting reading abounds how Germany committed to it. Google is your friend if you want to read about it.
  17. Yea-but with the times we live in a division making EVs will at some point be viable.
  18. GM full size is up-as per my post above. If you can afford the price of admission for theses vehicles-I believe fuel costs are a non issue.
  19. Both of the GM Full size SUV offerings were up. Again-I'm not putting much in to numbers under the current "chip" thing. However-I will say the GM's full size SUVs are now priced where if you can afford one I don't think fuel costs are a consideration.
  20. I just cruised past "auto dealer row" today near my home town. No new models of Toyota, Hyundai, or Chevrolet. As a matter of fact-it seems to be worst than several months ago. Can't speak to Ford as a dealership wasn't located on this particular street.
  21. I may have missed your point. But mine is to share anything a struggling model is not good. The Hybrid version is going to save the Escape-especially with the current prices on fuel being what it is.
  22. Yes-if it has anything in common with the Escape that's not a good thing!
  23. While numbers these days are murky for obvious reasons, the Edge is as popular as the Telluride and Palisades. Both of the later could probably sell in much greater numbers under normal conditions but there are production capacity issues-especially with the Telluride.
