Same here. It looks like a car fascia design. It wouldn't be my first choice. This is not a truck guy front end.

After struggling to break into the full-size pickup market for more than a decade, Nissan wants to jump-start sales of its new Titan truck family by offering a five-year, 100,000-mile warranty, leapfrogging rival automakers. The bumper-to-bumper warranty surpasses the industry standard of a three-year, 36,000-mile guarantee in the pickup truck sales segment. “This is going to shake up the market,” Phil O’Connor, Nissan’s U.S. truck and sport-utility marketing director, told Trucks.com. “It is going to give buyers a reason to put Titan on their shopping list and give us a serious look.” (snip) Nissan says it wants to grab 5 percent of the market, which would be more than five times its current position. Such a share would require the automaker to sell roughly 100,000 trucks annually. The company has barely sold 7,000 Titans so far this year. link: https://www.trucks.com/2016/08/15/nissan-titan-pickup-truck-warranty

Would you buy a car with no AM radio? (Tesla Model X)
Bryan1 replied to sullynd's topic in Competing Products
Same here. It would be missed. I listen to talk radio every day and some days all day. But Ford isn't getting rid of AM in their trucks anytime soon so all is good. -

PUTC: Mysterious 'Chevy Shake' Brings Much Frustration, Few Solutions
Bryan1 replied to Bryan1's topic in Competing Products
Dozens on the NHTSA site for this one issue is a lot. Edit: Chevy Shake lives at GMI... "Just ask yourself how many minor/rare problems does GM publish an 18-page detailed repair document for?" http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f70/gm-trucks-have-massive-unfixable-vibration-245609/index9.html -
Ron Seewald thought his 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali crew cab was the truck of his dreams. In almost every way, he said, it was an improvement over his nearly identical 2014 trade-in. Then, his dream turned into a nightmare. Read more on pickuptrucks.com: http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2016/06/mysterious-chevy-shake-brings-much-frustration-few-solutions.html

Now, Ford releases an ad titled “The Tough 10 Reasons the Ford F-150 Outpaces Every Other Truck”. It’s a fast-paced piece that starts with a history lesson. The ad shows a key in an ignition of what appears to be an older truck, and a hand trying to start the engine and failing. The narrator says “Those who don’t learn from the past are doomed to drive it.” Read more here: http://www.tfltruck.com/2016/06/is-this-ford-f-150-ad-a-counter-punch-to-the-chevy-silverado-rock-drop-attack/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSN_c9H9rNE

Chevy About to Attack Ford F150 With New Ad
Bryan1 replied to bdegrand's topic in Competing Products
They said they would use more aluminum, they didn't say it would be used for the floor of the bed. And they'll also say their welding makes their aluminum better or they will ignore past comments such as when they bashed the man step, heated wheels and 60k warranties and then did their own a few years later. 3.6 million views in 2 days. And the Howie Long one has 300k. https://www.youtube.com/user/Chevrolet/videos -

Chevy About to Attack Ford F150 With New Ad
Bryan1 replied to bdegrand's topic in Competing Products
I don't believe any of this including an empty toolbox piercing the bed. I want to see independant third party testing from PUTC or someone. PS Love how the pic of the Silverado damge is zoomed in and very grainy and the F-150 is zoomed out and crystal clear. smh. PPS Howie Long is back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnZFX3HyJ28 -
FCA - May 2016 U.S. Sales Increased 1 %; Best May Since 2005
Bryan1 replied to Anthony's topic in Competing Products
There is always a lot of overblown hype in the Chrysler sales reports. Best this, best ever, best since!!!!!! Promaster City best May ever.....it's only been available for two Mays ever. Renegade best month ever.....pretty easy when it's not been out that long, less than a year. Promaster best May ever...not that long either, since 2014. Ram "Truck" is always "best since 2005". Ram "Truck" is the best since 2005 only when they include the vans. Actual Ram trucks are -2.8% in May 2016 vs May 2015... http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2016/06/best-selling-pickup-trucks-may-2016.html -
You can also take out the $2,000 from the chrome/sport pkg discount that is part of the MSRP to begin with. This email offer is no deal.

'17 F-Series Super Duty- Lighter and Stronger
Bryan1 replied to ANTAUS's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
One thing I've noticed is that none of the articles on the 2017 Super Duty are questioning the move to aluminum. Every 2015 F-150 article brought up repair costs, insurance costs and durability. The media seems to have gotten over these talking points. Finally. -

Bryan1 replied to ANTAUS's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
A few more details here..... Using the F-150’s body has benefitted the Super Duty with up to 4 additional inches of cab length over the outgoing truck, resulting in a roomier cabin. The Super Duty also shares the dash and totally flat rear floor with its 1/2-ton brother, but it adds some unique storage solutions such as a two-tier glove box and dividable and locking rear underseat storage. 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty: This Is More Of It
Bryan1 replied to IMSA-XJR9's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
I like it a lot but I guess Jalopnik or Truck Yeah doesn't have to follow embargo rules. This is what I would expect on a forum but not on an actual site. Weren't they the ones that smashed some cars for GM awhile back?
