  1. They've had this truck for a while, this article covers their long distance towing test with a travel trailer they recently completed. Very impressive fuel economy they got towing the wind dragging travel trailer, although they did keep a 65 MPH cap. Not a long article, but a nice quick read. 2. Morimoto is expensive because they are engineered, not just made to look pretty.
  3. The VIN is generated first, then sent to scheduling where they determine whether they have all the pieces available to send it to production.
  4. Sounds like they got greedy. Hope they don't screw you over when your truck lands.
  5. But, that has nothing to do with my questioning the weight of the puck system.
  6. So, that info is still correct? Just want to make sure the salesman isn't just telling me something to appease me.
  7. Problem with most of those PCO deals is they have short expiration dates, won't be good by the time your ordered truck comes in.
  8. Military $500 discount is still going, so is Farm Bureau $500, and there are still student offers. None of those are available when using any plan pricing though.
  9. They all have class V hitches, standard F250 is 2.5", F350 and F250 high capacity have 3" receivers.
  10. Supposedly you are required to tell them you have a X-plan PIN beforehand, but most dealers don't care, although they are not required to accept x-plan at all, it's the dealer's choice.
  11. Truck with higher hitch rating has the high capacity trailer tow package maybe, or it's a F350 not a F250.
  12. You'll have to expound on that a little more, no idea what you're talking about.
  13. It happens, at least it's under warranty, you won't have to fool with it.
  14. Yup, happens all the time. Truck out of warranty?
  15. Went with MCA because I have a Mustang and am a big enthusiast. My truck is my work travel vehicle. EAA didn't hold my interest much.
  16. 2022 F250 Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 1FT7W2AT3NEC24939 J64L order number Was told by dealer build week of 08/02/21 Any info greatly appreciated.
  17. Yeah, for the Mustang Club of America membership, they have three levels, base level isn't eligible for the X-Plan, mid level is $35, gets you everything but the monthly magazine only comes electronically, top level is $50 and you get a print copy of the magazine(still waiting for my first issue!).
  18. Just have to be careful on tight turns, or get a sliding 5th wheel or a Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel hitch. I use the Andersen on my RAM.
  19. Hard to believe the installed weight would be that high.
  20. Dealer I have my truck ordered from has told me they will take an X-Plan PIN. I had already joined the MCA, which requires you be a member for 90 days before the PIN becomes valid for use. My truck is scheduled for the week of Aug. 2nd, and 90 days from when I joined MCA is Aug. 11, so no way the truck will land before my PIN is valid. But, I also emailed the admin at the Ford Partner website, and they emailed me back saying I only had to wait 60 days, so I don't know what the deal is with that.
  21. When my 2022 F250 4x2 comes in, I will be looking to swap with someone's 4x4 version. I'm all for anything that might help with the fuel economy, and my truck will never be used off road, so I'm not worried about hitting it on anything.
  22. I ordered my 2015 RAM, and the window sticker for it doesn't have my name on it anywhere.
  23. IMO, the only fuel additives worthy of consideration these days are those that deal with fuel gelling. And, you would need that only if your got caught in a sudden extreme cold weather happening and you still had summer fuel in your truck. Any others just don't get you enough benefit to justify the cost. The only time in the last 20 years or more that I ever put any fuel additives in my truck was when a BG rep gave me a couple of bottles to try. I could not tell any difference after use, and have never used any since. Buy your fuel from a high volume station, keep your filters changed on time, that's all you need to do.
