Thank you again for all your help. I have tried to track down the shipping details with Cassens and they tell me they don't have any record, nor do they transport to that Ford dealer. Is there any chance that you could double-check the transport company? This car is so close I can feel the perforated leather on my thighs! Ok, sorry; TMI. I will try my hardest to not break the rules and request an update this week. Since its coming from Chicago to Chicago, it may even be delivered before a week is up! I cant tell you how pleasing it is to buy from a company that did not get bailed out, and support workers in Chicago. I'll definitely be using this functionality when I get mine in a few weeks. Fortunately, almost all wireless cards/fobs have a 30 day trial during which you can return no questions asked. I have had most success with Verizon, so that will probably be the one I use. I'll post when I get it running.... -m

I ordered mine 4/12 and will be getting the $500 rebate unless it goes up, in which case I will get the higher of the rebates. It was a little ridiculous to get us in to order a car and then pull the rebate out from under us. I already lost the $1,000 rebate search all over hill and dale for a 2011 limited that was in stock somewhere....

DEFINITELY get it. For that price, it is a steal, and will cost a fortune to add later, especially with the oil cooler and radiator upgrade. I ordered it and only have to tow two seadoos twice a year!

By the time I get my 2011 explorer, there will be 2012s on the lot! I bet the electronics option prices goes up with the two levels of options now...

My tux black explorer was ordered on April 12 and I definitely missed the cutoff. Switched colors last week an got a VIN.

More than a coupe months, I'm told that tux black is out for the 2011 model year altogether.

Good guess, that is exactly what they are doing (for the 2011 model year). According to my dealer I could switch my Tux black to black (like the mustangs). My wife wanted white. She gets what she wants.

I had similar problems with my 2011 limited order, but had to change the color. I was disappointed, but still think I got a great SUV, and the dealer gave me the tri-coat white for cost, which saved me about $75. -m

Tuxedo black is out for 2011. Sadly. I had to choose plain black or another color for a vehicle I order in april. Once I changed color, I got a VIN within a few days. Tuxedo black will probably be back for the 2012 model year.

Black is the new tuxedo black. Tuxedo black is no more for 2011. :-(

I'm excitedly awaiting my limited, though I could not get the tuxedo black I wanted. Once I changed to white, it went into production. Yes! -Matt
