Mine are getting swapped out for 16" steelies tomorrow morning. I don't want to take any chances.
My 2004 Explorer had some pretty decent wear on the wheels from winters, it tends to cause the paint to bubble up, usually starts around the areas the tire weights are, and around the lip, they were painted aluminum like the Fusion. Will take a few years anyways before any corrosion starts, unless you run the wash like once a week.
Pricing is totally different from up here to down where you are, but I think Tire Rack has a "Prefered" winter 16" package with Blizzaks and Steelies for around 6-700ish, costs me 1099ish out the door from them due to shipping charges, so I ended up ordering my set through the dealership since the pricing is around the same, and they'll mount them for me.
