  1. I ordered both my cars directly through the dealership GM. Every week he emailed or called me directly on the status of my cars. I know this is not everybody's experience, but it should be. Remember, you are the customer.
  2. How are you going to handle the double taxes? I suspect if your father is going to purchase the car on your behalf it will need to be titled in you name. Then you will need to transfer the title when you get there and again pay taxes. Glad it worked out for you.
  3. I know you did a lot of electrical headlight adjustments and I think you de-badged your car (could be wrong). Did that have anything to do with the settlement?
  4. I've compared both and the sound in mine (THX) is really better. The only time I notice reduced sound quality is when I carry stuff in the trunk...like grocery bags, packages or luggage. I have a hybrid and a small trunk.
  5. My yellow warning has come on anywhere from 17 to 32 miles left. I've been down to 2 miles and have never seen the red warning yet, in either car. My 2010 always alerted at 50 miles.
  6. I had the Ford bi-directional installed by the dealer after my FFH arrived for a total of $350. Works great-no issues.
  7. I have the Day Vue in both my cars. I use a screen protector because I can wipe off the screen without fear of scratching the surface. You might want to reconsider.
  8. I also have a Ruby Red MKZh. Just took it on a 1700+ mile trip and averaged 40.8 through some pretty rough weather and mountains. Enjoy your car.
  9. Look at this thread... http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/54913-flat-rock-fusion/?hl=%2Bflat+%2Brock
  10. Yesterday I was able to see the pic, but today....not so much.
  11. I've always got mine directly from the service department at the dealer. They input the VIN and print it out.
  12. Since my wife is the one who qualifies for A Plan...she can have any car she wants.
  13. Nice car. I see Weathertech still hasn't got the message about the lack of coverage on the "dead-man's" peddle. Enjoy your cars. I see you wife claimed the "new" car....as did my wife.
  14. Well.....you are the customer. It takes all of 30 seconds for them to get the info.
  15. Everyone's car shows up as a 2002 Transit Connect as it is the default car that comes up. Normally, the car is built within a week or so after the VIN is issued. Have you contacted the dealer for this info? They know the answers. Etis is a European based site.
  16. I have HD in my '13 MKZh that I took delivery on 5/13 and have had absolutely no issues with the HD radio.
  17. Back in 11/12 I was bored one day. I actually counted the rows and then how many cars were in each row. It got to be quite a project. What you won't do while waiting for your car. My FFH made two trips back and forth to the lots where it sat for a long time before being shipped. My MKZh was shipped the day after it was build and only took 9 days on the train.
  18. There are threads on the Hybrid site that shows the entire facility, including the test track and the infamous off site storage lots. At one time the lots had over 20,000 Fusions in them. Over a year ago mine was one of them.
  19. The only thing you got that I would like to have is the power folding mirrors.
  20. Mine doesn't fell anything like that. I suggest you have an issue and should take it in.
  21. My 2013 Fusion took exactly 4 months. My MKZh took eight weeks.
  22. I think the guy did the right thing - make it safe to drive and keep it origional.
