  1. Here's ours from google maps, before this summer's renovation. They covered the rear 'garage' area's concrete block with grey waved sheet metal, covered the red brick columns in the corner of the showroom with white aluminium, installed a backlit 'HATHEWAY' sign, changed the oval sign to the newest one, changed the lightposts and repaved the lot... Still looks the same except in grey and blue. They still have the A1 Used Cars sign. Is it possible Ford of Canada's expectation for updated dealers are lower than Ford of US?
  2. Father's selling RVs... Most people that come to looks at 30+ foot trailers with Toyota have to call their dealership and send them the specs to get the approval to haul it with their Tundra without voiding the warranty... And most of the time they're denied.
  3. I actually prefer the light blue Chevrolet dealership. Here in NB they're still building the 'white' dealership with the straight tower, ain't seen those silver with curved tower yet. The white ones looks like hospital.
  4. The interior looks like what a Lariat Super Duty would looks with a console shifter..
  5. http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2013/02/2013-chicago-auto-show-2014-tundra-intro-live-webcast.html Looks like they bought GM's old bed tooling...
  6. FWD? Dang they were able to make the Nissan looks normal...
  7. Same thing with my 4.0 Ranger. Easily a 2-3 mpg gain after the first 15 000Kms.
  8. Ain't hard to beat Impalas. When my fathers was still a volunteer RCMP, the guys would fight to not get the Impala and Chargers. CV had quite a reputation, and god ask me why, they were preferred in winter condition. They once got an LT1 Caprice and nobody wanted it. Fast on take-off, but no top-end and extremely uncomfortable for the size.
  9. There's a boatload of RCMPs Taurus PI here. dealer in my university's town, Moncton, NB (Taylor Ford Lincoln) is the RCMP's outfitter for the maritime. They take care of all the brand (CV/Chargers/Tahoe), but mostly their lot is filled with Taurus and a few used Suburban that were there for repairs. I suspect as soon as the Suburban fleet start to age they'll be replaced with Explorers. Heck, 2-3 years ago my local town in northern NB still had a flower-wheeled 302 Explorer haha!
  10. So... Camry's weird front-end on the old body with a Cruze rear-end?
  11. I wonder how much Corolla are sold WITHOUT the Matrix. Having a 'regular' ICE C-Max, Ford could nearly do the same by combining Focus & C-Max sales.
  12. Looks great, those are beautiful vehicle! Your dealer's services bay looks like our's showroom.....
  13. Hey, only 13... We'll see who's laughing in 20 years on the Barrett Jackson stage
  14. One thing to note, I don't know how it's work in other towns, but around here most dealer store their Mustang for winters and don't advertise them. So those are a few 'dead' inventories, compared to the ATS which is not a seasonal car.
  15. Awesome looking car Borg! On a related note, saw my first ATS on the dealer lot today. Nice looking car, but rather boring. It was parked beside a CTS, and my father asked me if the CTS was 'the new model'. The car is rather bland... I have yet to see the MKZ in person, but I'm sure it'll stand out way more. It's poralizing, but the ATS is boring.
  16. Just went for a local dealership cruise today with my father... Local GM/Buick/Cadillac dealer have TONS of trucks on the lot. I stopped counting at 115 and that was only two rows... They have 5 rows + a strip of easily 100 trucks along the highway. The Chevrolet dealership on the other side of the highway (they're facing each other) have less truck, maybe a 100, but they're a much smaller dealer. They have two Silverado with 'HUGE DISCOUNTS' wrote on them facing the highway. It's pathetic. The GM/Buick/Cadillac one's lots is filled to maybe 3/4 of trucks. The smaller of the two Dodge dealership around have 10 000$ off '13 Ram 1500. I bet the larger one too. No discount on '13 F150 except on the single cab STX who are discounted since the Ranger was discontinuated last year. Saw some ATSs for the first time. Not bad, but not as stunning as the picture. Not as flashy as the MKZs, but surely not as much polarising. There was a black one beside a black CTS, my father mistook the ATS for an older CTS.
  17. They runs tons of advertisement on TV here in Canada.
  18. I hate how white pick up salt stain in the winter. If I had a garage it wouldn't matter, but not having the chance to clean my white Ranger as I could during the cold months is killing me. Brown/beige stains from salts stays and they need a good rub to take off. If they had one in stock (bought my '11 during the final clearout last december), I'd have went with bright red. But a Ranger can't be compared with a luxury car. A black or white Lincoln always grab attention.
  19. Not much increase from the Ram redesign?
  20. It was about time... The Canadian site was second worst next to GM's website!
  21. A white MKZ will look fantastic! Can't wait for the pictures
  22. Well remember that 90% of the truck that'll work hard and see mud and work gloves on the dash daily will be XLs and base XLTs.
  23. Well sharing some common components to reduce the cost is a good idea. Even if they had the same bed and cab design but with a different front fascia would save costs compared to produce 2 completely differents bodys.
  24. Well any red is better than a beige. I'd like to see the MKC in Race Red or something similar.
  25. But again.. If they only come in black, silver, 3 tones of whites and 6 of beiges, it ain't much better...
