Still holds true today. Pocono race today Chevy 1,2,3 sweep. Last week Dover Chevy 1,2,3,4 sweep. Charlotte Toyota wins. Where is the Ford performance?
The GM boys will call foul if comparing the GT 350 to the SS or even the Z 28. And why not offer both the 5.0 S/C and the 3.5 TT? I don't see a reason not to.
In the first few races after Daytona Joe's car was good at the beginning of the race and fell off later in the race. They have come back though lately.
Chip Gannasi had two prototypes at the 24 hour race @ Daytona the 01 and the 02. I don't know if he owns both cars or not, but both came out of the Gannasi / Sabates stable. Why only one at the 12 hour @ Sibring? I don't know.
Brad won that race because of the crew chief and his pit team. The crew chief made the right call to put 4 tires on while most others did only 2 tires. The Fords seam to be lacking something in the handling and HP departments. The Roush cars are really struggling. Their best drivers have left the organization and they are stuck with less than stellar drives. They need a reorganization, and Jack needs to get out of the way. I wish Ford would put the engine development with Penske and Yates and pull the the plug on Roush.
