  1. Is there an issue with the ecoboost engines or not? Seams like there is. Does Ford have a fix that works yet? Just want to know what Ford is doing to address the problem.

  3. My wife just picked up her first brand new car 2014 Focus SE sedan. She was going to buy a Nissan Altma but decided to get the Focus after driving them both. She liked the ride and handling better with the Focus. Plus she likes the Sync system. I have a 2012 Focus SE sedan myself and had no influence on her decision. She never drove mine because mine is a manual and she refuses to learn how to drive manual. She traded in her 2005 Focus SE with almost 100K miles on it with no problems at all. The only thing replaced on that car was brakes, tires, battery, and windshield wiper blades. Hope this one does as well.
  4. Ford did good during the race finished: 15th only 28 laps down 43rd 85 laps down 47th 96 laps down not bad for the first outing with new cars and engines.
  5. that would be nice and a 2 door Fiesta ST while your at it.
  6. Update, it's a new device that only allows Ford engines in the engine bay. If someone swaps in a LSx motor it just spits it out. I love it!
  7. It's "smell-a-engine". It's all the new rage, kids love it.
  8. Again thanks for your contribution. That would be a true statement if none of them were in the JY because of accidents. But most likely they are their because of accidents.
  9. For every one of these ^^^^^^^ there are 100 Mustangs with a Chevy motor.

  11. I thought Ford was going to concentrate on cars, not trucks and these big SUV behemoths. Looks like they are going for the big profits again and letting quality slip (recall #7 on the Escape).
  12. Fords have had more recalls than sales. http://www.statisticbrain.com/automobile-recall-statistics/
  13. Selling 400K @ $3K profit. One it keeps a lot of people employed and two a lot more cars on the road that people see every day and say, I see a lot of those cars they must be a good product. That's they way I see it anyway. PS as long as they don't skimp on the quality and get a lot of negative press (recalls).
  14. I agree. If you make a quality product, word of mouth will bring in the customers which = profits. Takes time to reassure the customers though.
  15. The ONLY thing that matters is Profit? Really? Only to the share holders maybe. If profit (greed) comes before customer satisfaction no business will survive in the long run. Without customers you have no PROFIT.
  16. Ford also needs to keep quality up. I know they are trying, but problems with MFT is being perceived as a quality issue. Suppliers have to step up and Ford has to do a better job at making sure the suppliers are building to Fords specs. and following Fords procedures.
  17. Funny, GM's 6.2 has a bore of 4.06 compared to Fords bore of 4.015 and doesn't need 2 plugs / cyl.
  18. Bore spacing on the Coyote is 3.937 all the small block Fords 289, 302, 351C and W are 4.38
