  1. At what amount of power is an engine not weak? At 300 hp? At 350 hp? At 400 hp? Who decides that? You? Whatever you say, is your opinion. Not a statement of facts. In the 80s , a 150 hp engine was considered powerful enough for sports cars! The Mustang had a 119 hp V8! The most exotic car by then, the Lamborghini Countach, had 370 hp V12 engine. Now, this power 150-200 hp, is considered appropriate only for small and cheap vehicles. 450 hp is enough for a big, flagship , luxury SUV in a time where a family sedan like the Toyota Crown has up to 340 hp hybrid engine? I have my opinion, and everyone in this page have their opinion, too. Opinions, not statements of facts.
  2. True. But is also true that everyone hoped that the engine would be improved with more power and, perhaps, some hybrid version. We expected that. We must also remember that another Navigator’s competitor, the Mercedes-Benz GLS has an intermediate version with 510 HP, in addition to the base 375 HP and the top of the line 603 HP
  3. This page improves every minute. 2 insults in less than 12 hours! The administrators must be on summer vacation!
  4. Why some guys is this page can insult others without consequences? Is my opinion. Can’t express it?
  5. 2025 Cadillac Escalade: 420 HP 2025 Cadillac Escalade V: 682 HP The top-of-the-line Navigator’s engine is weak compared with the top-of-the-line Escalade engine Facts. Check it
  6. Nice truck. Very luxurious interior. Weak engine. Smart big screen location. But…, please, say to Lincoln design department that BLACK is not LUXURY. Please. That black front end of the top-of-the-line Black Label is not luxury enough. The jet package with all the chrome in black doesn’t looks luxurious. I prefer, by far, the base model, the Reserve, with all those chromed details.
  7. The grille , the wheels and the name are the best part of this truck! Love those flat wheels. Love that vertical grille. Is a very attractive truck.
  8. The new Escalade is already here…. When willl be here the new Navi?
  9. You are wrong. The 3 EVs are on the same price band, the same customer target. Why? The Mach E has the same price as the new Capri and both have a slightly higher price than the EV Explorer. Why 3 vehicles with the same size and price? I can’t understand the Ford Europe strategy.
  10. Maybe that is right for higher price cars from premium brands, not Ford . Even luxury brands are struggling selling EVs. Audi reduced the Belgium EV plant production from 120000 to 40000 annually, and will closed it in the near future because the EV sales are bad, very bad. Is a bad timing for Ford to present an expensive EV for Europe right now. Maybe the soon to be revealed electric Puma , if it will be priced accordingly with the brand and market, will be a better proposition.
  11. I am European. I live in Spain. The problem with this car and the EV Explorer is the price. 50000€ is a lot of money for a mainstream medium size SUV. With that money you can buy a compact luxury Mercedes-Benz or BMW. The other problem is the EV charge infrastructure, that actually is a disaster. I don’t see a good future for Ford Europe.
  12. Come on, Jim. If you make a sedan or hatch as revolutionary and good as the 1st Gen Taurus or Focus, you will have and excellent car to make an excellent (and profitable) EV. Ford did it in the past, can do it again. P.S.: that picture of the Probe concept car is amazing. Something like that can do it very well today…
  13. Another 50000€ EV SUV for Europe. There are not enough Europeans to buy all those expensive cars
