  1. Just out of curiosity, do any of the current vehicle descriptions mention child safety locks?
  2. I guess we know know where those three black broncos and jeep were headed from the video posted a few days ago.
  3. Wont be able to watch since I'll be at work. Will be here though reading all the details when I get home though.
  4. I thought there was a photo floating around that showed the antenna was on the side view mirror on the passenger side.
  5. Has this been an issue on Fords for a while? I had a 2001 Mustang that was involved in a front end accident. The body shop I took the vehicle to sent back 4 hoods because of glue that hadn't dried. The owner of the body shop would inspect the hood and said the glue had the consistency of snot. He was getting ready to invite me to the shop and have a look at aftermarket hoods. He finally received a good hood about a month after getting my car.
  6. Is this the story you wanted to link: https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news/new-ford-bronco-delayed-to-2021-upcoming-f-150-and-mustang-mach-e-pushed-back-too/ar-BB14bewK?li=BBnbfcL
  7. So, looks like no later than June 19th. https://autos.yahoo.com/2021-ford-bronco-still-debuting-143200615.html
  8. That's as good as my suggestion of naming the truck the F-69.
  9. Then how about the F-99? The F-75?, The F-50? Or, how about the F-69? Wait, that one might cause problems.
  10. Not a fan of the plastic on the wheel wells. Looks funny to me. I'm guessing that's a cloth top?
  11. So quick question, with whats going on in the World right now, does the debut still happen this month or will Ford wait a few months? What is the actual date this is to be debuted?
  12. Not much more to see here. Just the cameo Bronco alongside a Jeep https://www.autoblog.com/photos/2021-ford-bronco-vs-jk-jeep-wrangler/#slide-2212850 The is the article from the Yahoo news page: Ford's Bronco prototypes are being spotted all over the Detroit metro area, but this is the first time a set of photos has captured one alongside its chief rival — the Jeep Wrangler. If you want new mechanical details, you're going to be disappointed, as there are no close-up shots here, but we do get a sense of what to expect from the Bronco's dimensions. Unfortunately, we don't get a direct comparison here. The pictured Jeep appears to be a JK model (the Wrangler generation that went out of production after the 2018 model year) and, on top of that, it's merely a two-door. On the flip side, however, we benefit from the fact that Jeep doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel every time a new Wrangler hits the market. The new JL model is larger than before, certainly, but its wheelbase only increased by about an inch. In the photos that depict them almost side-by-side, we see that the two are pretty darned close in terms of the dimensions we can directly compare — namely height and width. The Jeep looks a bit more squared-off, giving the impression that it's wider. This impression is encouraged by the Jeep's boxy fenders, which the Bronco lacks. The Bronco, sitting lower relative to the Jeep thanks to the crown in the road, also appears taller. Part of that is likely due to the complex camouflage being used to disguise its roof, which we've yet to see uncovered. This particular JK is a Willys Wheeler, which wasn't all that mechanically unique, but it did sport the larger tires from the range-topping Rubicon model. By comparison, this four-door Bronco's street tires look pretty wimpy, but we've already seen what we assume to be the Bronco's Rubicon equivalent being tested in the great outdoors, so we know Ford has more up its sleeve than what we see here. Like we said, it's not perfect, but it gives us a glimpse of what to expect when the Bronco is formally unveiled in March.
  13. Fuzzy may not be able to say anything since Fuzzy works for Ford.
  14. I'm usually not a fan of black cars. But this is neat. A nice flat black. Spring can't come soon enough.
  15. So how long before someone takes the Bronco R, and photoshops this light into that pic?
  16. Most of the city police forces around here are using Ford Explorers.
  17. I wish they would've taken some shots of the front end.
  18. There was a guy that worked for a Circuit City nearby. He had a 2001 or 2002 V6 Mustang. He spent the money to make it look like a Cobra. I was laughing as the transition happened because it wasn't done all at once. I think the front bumper was first. Then the badging. It did look somewhat decent when it was done. But I've always wondered, why would someone go through the trouble?
  19. My boss bought a Volt about a year ago. I think he said he gets 300 miles per charge. It takes 12 hours to get to a full charge. It costs .18 cents an hour to charge. So, if you do 12 hour charges daily you're spending $2.18 a day to charge. Thats @ $64 a month.
  20. Those two gauges on the door, are they going to be in the final vehicle? Or are they there for testing purposes?
  21. So what can happen if the drier isn't replaced? Will more problems present themselves?
  22. Brought the Escape back to the mechanic yesterday. Customer Complaint: Inspect customer states, A/C is ions when driving in warm conditions. A/C will work on cool nights. A/C also seems to work often while parked at idle and seems to stop working when driving. Description of repairs or services performed: **Inspected the customers complaint. Road tested the vehicle but could not verify. **Scanned te he HAVC module for codes. No code are stored at this time. Engine temperature is running in the normal range. Cooling fans are running full time. Checked Identyfix. Identyfix shows a high failure rate of A/C Transducer/Pressure switch. Tested A/C Transducer/Pressure switch. Switch tested out of range. Switch does have a 5 volt reference and a good ground. We also found a high failure rate of the expansion valve. Based on the above inspections we performed the following: **Replaced the A/C Transducer/Pressure switch. Replaced Expansion Valve With the system components connected we evacuated the system and verified the system held vacuum for 15 minutes. Added refrigerant oil to the system Re Charged the system with a full charge of refrigerant Re checked the system operation Leak checked the system with a full charge and there are no other leaks apparent at this time (see air condition advisory) **Performed a final round road test to verify the original complaints are no longer apparent and all repairs are satisfactory. As of now, everything seems to be blowing cool. Fingers are crossed this continues.
  23. I love my 2012 Escape, because it looks like a mini mashed up version of an Explorer and Expediton. I don't understand why Ford can't continue to take the styling cues of the Explorer and Expedition and continue to make a mini mashed up version into the Escape.
