  1. Their site, which I’d assume would be more accurate than brochures that had probably been printed beforehand still says late summer for the GT. However I know there is a stop shipment on the Explorer due to something with the fuel lines; not sure if the Aviator is also impacted by this.
  2. Yeah I’ve had Reserves as loaners and for another $3-5k it seems well worth it to me. I really don’t like the wheels on my BL Continental but I genuinely like the BL wheels that my Aviator will have. But yeah, the Alcantara headliner or whatever Lincoln calls it along with the nicer leather and to me the price difference is well worth it—especially if you go for a fully loaded Reserve. I could live with a Reserve for sure, but I like the little extras that BL offers.
  3. For me it’s the interior of the Black Label vehicles that really seals the deal.
  4. Thanks for the review! Even though your time was limited you seemed to be satisfied with it. Would you say it met/exceeded your expectations?
  5. I got excited for nothing? https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2019/07/17/where-in-the-world-is-pickup-truck-emoji-ford.html However, maybe this is Ford being cryptic about the upcoming truck?
  6. I don’t blame you for not going BL then. Mine isn’t as close to my house but it’s closer to my work so any time I need serviced I just have them pick my Continental up at work. I went with the Flight theme in Flight Blue. The date night idea sounds pretty cool though!
  7. I completely understand where you’re coming from; I have family in the company. I ordered the standard Black Label but was just curious about the GT. Kind of surprised we haven’t seen any first drives since some people already have them.
  8. I was referring to a ballpark as when they’ll start making them even, the first one I ordered didn’t have the full rear console and was supposed to be built the week of 6/24 but it’s been pushed back, I’m just hoping my new one which is slated for 8/12 doesn’t get pushed back either. I’ve seen that they’re arriving at dealerships at least so that gives me a little hope!
  9. Did they give you an estimated time?
  10. The one I originally ordered has been pushed back, as of now my new build is still slated for the week of 8/12. ??
  11. I don’t know, I can ask my sister and see if she knows.
  12. Yeah my sister said OKTB was met for the Aviator and Explorer on Friday.
  13. Understandable; I haven’t had a SUV for a long time; and while I like my Continental I wanted something with the same luxuries but I need a bit more practicality; ideally I’d prefer Nautilus size but I just like the Aviator too much—maybe if the next generation Nautilus goes RWD I’ll pick one up.
  14. Haha yes and fingers crossed that there aren’t any delays. And why not ever for you?
  15. New build date is 8/12. With some luck I might get it before my birthday.
  16. That is a little aggravating; I placed mine as soon as I could and then just had to reorder last week due to a configuration issue. Was hoping to have it by the end of August but that’s not looking likely given when you ordered yours. But congrats on your order!!
  17. *NVM, I thought you were replying to me in regard to asking about the Pristine White.
  18. Does anyone know if Pristine White is an all new color or just a new name for White Platinum? Also, I love that they didn’t put any amber in the headlights, I thought that was a requirement, it makes them look so much cleaner.
  19. Update from the dealer he said it’ll probably be two weeks before I have a build date. So I’m probably looking at a late August delivery at this point. ?
