What is your rear axle ratio? It is?? Also is the problem related to your right foot?😎 -
Ford May 2024 Sales - Up 11.2% Overall
Bob Rosadini replied to rmc523's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
Well a good source told me they lost 50% of their Power Stroke allocation to Super Duty..(250-450?) But 7.3 orders were doing well..I guess if you want a 650/750 in less than a year that is your only option? I posed the question, so if 7,3 is to pick up slack will they finally offer air brakes??? No answer🤔 -
I can't believe that those taillights are the final design. Everyone seems to make a "statement" with taillight design. If those are final, I guess the good news is they are "legal"🙄 I have to say my 23 STX has nice tailights..when they are off! Not like the "bulb package" on the XLT. Or the full width lights on my MKZ. By the way, biggest reason I bought an STX? Love that front grill treatment...gone for 24🤔

Agree..unlike the GM's that I think are much better looking- and not as attractive as the Explorer.

How about a guy that went by"Old999" or something similar-I do believe he was an employee or an annuitant.. I checked my start date and it was 10/1999. Then there was a system problem of some sort and the post count was lost. Anyone have any recollection on both counts?

Also on an interior shot-I think the 22, on the roll bar was a "Ford Performance" decal in block letters, next to a Ford script decal.

Saturday was the 10th annual Bronco Owners Northeast States meet ("BONES")which benefits the Travis Mills Foundation. S/Sgt.Travis Mills is a quadruple amputee who was wounded in an explosion while serving in Afghanistan in2012. The Foundation has established a facility in Maine that provides vacation opportunities for veterans who sustained severe injuries during their service. We had close to 100 Broncos of all generations. Attached is one overall view of the grounds plus a drive through "photo op" that my son who is employed by a commercial printer designed and constructed.

Top Management Changes
Bob Rosadini replied to mackinaw's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
My reaction was same as A-Cat. However yesterday's WSJ had an article on this appointment. Key quote.."At Lucid, House kept a low profile but left the company's balance sheet in good financial condition..." Also went on to note in March Lucid secured a one billion dollar investment from a Saudi investment fund, as well as noting her biggest challenge will be joining the company as an "outsider". -

AK..must be the camera- Mass DMV calls it "gray", I call it "dirty snow". But one thing for sure... it does NOT show dirt.😎 -

H, Yes, its the rear bumper that I noticed the minute the season started. Versus record so far 🤔, a minor detail, but seemed like a dumb move. Would GM get rid of the bow tie?

So said an extensive Seeking Alpha article posted 5/4. Per Morgan Stanley analyst...."Pro could hypothetically be worth $80 billion as a stand -alone." And Farley has crowed about Ford's position in class 1-7 trucks. Sounds good until you go to Ford Pro site and surf. Looks like a Hollywood movie set-open the door and nothing is there. Case in point..you want specs? Lists medium duty specs for 2023! I could go on but why bother. All fluff and no substance. If it is as profitable, can you imagine how it could be if they were really interested in anything beyond 550. And I know, class 6 and 7 are a relatively small market..but if you truly want to "talk the talk " about being the number 1 commercial vendor, you better wake up before your competitors do. If I were a dealer had had to spend all that money to qualify with service bays with 14 ft doors, expanded hours ect. ect., I would want the opportunity to compete across the board..not just in high roof Transits. Kool Aid fans, Fire away!😎

Watch a race..the id on bumper was script, it is now block letters also other id that always was script logo, no longer, now block letters. And I do believe that is not current "Mustang" wrapper, it is last years.

Per Ford Authority, Bronco Heritage is history after MY 24. Actually if you don't have an order in the system now, the books are closed. IMO too bad as I think they do the best job of capturing the original..befitting the Heritage name. I see a lot of them around here in any case.

Anyone-er the couple of you who watch Nascar😎-notice the absence of the Ford "Script" on the car bumpers, replaced by "FORD" in block letters?? Some high priced marketer must have made that decision🤔 Hopefully that doesn't spread when you have one of the most recognized logos world wide..you would think.

As Lee Iacoccoa once said,.."you never can forget whose name is on the building." Sounds like from that article such was the case with Don Petersen. But if he was responsible for the Taurus, AND the Explorer I would assume, adding his recommendation on Mullaly, makes him 3 for 3 ! Not many other Ford CEO's I would think had such significant milestones in their careers.

I am aware that like sheep, this state is following Calif. But does a state have to follow all provisions? Plus wouldn't a dealer know that it is not a matter of availability and a wait of a year but rather it is well known that a PS will not be available in CA and Oregon in 25, wouldn't that be common knowledge here? Again my biggest question is why the continued BS given as reasons for unavailability of air brakes?? The utilities around here all run heavy single axles-be they dump trucks towing a tandem tag axle usually carrying a Deere or Cat loader/backhoe or a heavy bucket/polecat towing a big cable reel- I would assume those have cable trailers have air brakes? I would assume 7M you have similar needs??

Commercial truck guy at local dealer just told me if you want a 650/750 PS you are looking at a year wait. Apparently profitability/demand for 250-350, and probably 450,550 leave OAP with low allocation. You would think this would now make air brakes on a gas 650/750 a top priority but probably not in their infinite wisdom. On another note, one of biggest mulch suppliers in Mass/RI has about 10 satelite locations that are fed from main facility that processes the logs. These locations have a 750 with bodies that are probably capable of 15 yds. I went by the main facility the other day and looked like they had a bunch of new trucks in. A couple of days later I stopped at one of the satelites and one of these new trucks was there. Big heavy rubber, aluminum wheels and no V-8 or PS badge. so I went around to other side and there was the DEF tank. No reason PS badge would not have been on this truck as it would not have interferred with wrap/decals. Could these be running some test engine??

Hah. I replaced my wife's 65 Mustang with a new Pinto Hatchback..4 speed, dark green -nice little car. We lived in Brewster NY ( Junction of I-84 and what is now I-684.) I worked in White Plains. This was during first oil embargo-gas only odd/even days depending on plate number. So she was teaching school and would gas up cars during her lunch break. I had taken it to work one day and it was stolen right out of parking garage.. Cop said econoboxes were the hot stolen car. One thing I remember was driving to work with it one morning and looked around me and I was one of 6 Pintos in "formation"

Wow-forgot about that one!
