  1. Well, the question really now is whether the OP will chime back in. I, for one, am not saying don't use 93. I am saying use whatever you want if you need the full 440 hp and 510 torque. Not sure why most of us need that all the time, but if anyone thinks he does, great! Buy 93 octane.
  2. You said it. Opinion and what makes sense to you. So, again, personal preference on what each person wants to do. Professional what? Drivers? How many Navigator owners does that encompass? I have filled up with premium in the past, and the way I normally drive, I don't notice a difference. You have mentioned several times the $100k price tag. Precisely. This is not a sports car or track car. It's a luxury SUV. Those who want to fill up with 93 and get the full 440 and 510, by all means, have at it. Making people feel stupid for not doing so is, well...you know.
  3. Like I said, personal preference. If I take my luxury SUV to the track, I will use 93.
  4. There is no right or wrong answer, and the debate rages on as to what you should use. Personal preference, really.
  5. Just used ActiveGlide in my new Nav tonight, and it changed the cruise speed when speed limits changed. Very accurate and cool.
  6. That is my understanding. Well, now I see this video. Apparently the updates come over the air but to install, the vehicle needs to be turned off and connected to wifi. Hmmm. A bit different than I initially thought. https://fordauthority.com/2020/12/how-to-use-over-the-air-updates-in-the-2021-ford-f-150-video/
  7. Does it have Sync 4? If so, it is through Over The Air updates. No connection to wifi or USB flash drives needed. Updates like your cell phone does.
  8. Never had an issue with mine, but Lincoln forum people melt down about that.
  9. That is what I had, well Scorpions anyway, on my 2008 Expedition.
  10. Took delivery of the new beast, the 2022 4x4 Black Label L Navigator. Same exterior and interior I had on the 2020, Pristine White Metallic Tri-Coat and Chalet theme. This is the L vs. the regular length of my 2020. It is raining today, so I only have managed a few pics I will post here. My initial impressions, in no particular order, are below the pics. 1. The rain sensing wipers work much better. My 2020 always sensed more rain than was present, and I had it set to lowest sensitivity. 2. One annoying issue that was never solved was the SiruisXM song title being displayed on the instrument cluster. Works on this one. 3. The lack of engine cover: no discernible increase in engine noise. In fact, the engine sounds quieter. Go figure. Looking at the engine, no way the 2020 cover will fit. See pics in Engine Cover Missing thread. There are added components on this engine. Wild guess: ActiveGlide components. 4. The map orientation is cool. There are no + and - buttons or re-centering icon that I could find. It is pinch and zoom. Cool part, you can reset the view after that if you want. If not, after, I think, 5 seconds, the vehicle icon "snaps back" to center. 5. Speed limit signs on map are more accurate than on Sync 3. 6. Lincoln never admitted I should have had "Miles to empty" on HUD and instrument cluster simultaneously. BS about VIN/build date. Um, it was a Black Label. Why would something have less functionality? Answer: they were lying. This one displays both properly. 7. When I pulled in the driveway, I did a Sync update scan. Took 5 seconds. 5 seconds, you read that correctly. 2020 would take several minutes, at best. All over the air, as I was NOT connected to wifi. Okay, those are just some things I was able to notate, at red lights, of course, that I noticed. Engine/transmission shift points seem peppier as well. Maybe just the new vehicle excitement. Have not been able to test ActiveGlide yet but will do so soon. Love it so far. The issues I mainly experienced seem to be working correctly. Now, they had to re-clean much of the suede interior. It was smudged with fingerprints or something that must have come from the factory. Who knows? They should have caught it in the prep, but whatever. Pam, the RAV salesperson, got us in and out quickly, and the finance guy had everything ready and took less than 10 minutes. A good experience, overall.
  11. Okay, got the Polaroid loaded up... Man, this thing is the same as my 2020 except an L model, but Sync 4 so far is light years ahead of Sync 3. Thanks for the updates! Trying to talk the wife in to one, so hopefully, I'll be checking with you on that one sometime. Raining here today, so only a few pics.
  12. @JO302, awesome! Thanks for the pics! Edit: Get that drink out of that cup holder lol!!
  13. Freaking Lincoln person did not send the paperwork until today, so now we may have to delay until Saturday or Tuesday because of commitments tomorrow afternoon. Beyond aggravating.
  14. I was hoping to read better news. Hang in there, friend!
  15. If it is like the 2018-2021 MYs, they are hidden behind panels on the front.
  16. I read that Ford has cracked down on people giving PINs top people they really don't know. Also, what does this have to do with price protection?
  17. I can only guess logistics from the rail companies. I have to assume Ford wants these vehicles gone. And, it is confusing that both of you are Xray something lol. Not really....
  18. As you know, ours were built the same day or a day apart, maybe. Mine is at Fair Oaks Lincoln as we speak just waiting for the reacquire paperwork to get sorted out. There has to be some sort of commodity issue holding up shipment for you. Your dealer should be able to find out what it is, I would think. Maybe you have posted in the Timeline thread about it, I can't recall.
  19. Happens a lot with the Lincoln tracking site. Give it some time, it corrects itself eventually.
  20. Still not quite my vehicle. Lincoln sent the offer letter for replacement of my 2020. After we sign and send it Monday, it should hopefully be just a few days to take delivery next week. I went to Fair Oaks for a car wash and she was in the back lot. I also got to sit in a 2022 Reserve that was running. The infotainment screen is nice and adds camera features. The graphics on the instrument cluster were more impressive as well. Will give my impressions of Sync 4, etc., after I take delivery. A few pics...
  21. Once a vehicle arrives at a rail yard, isn't then up to a truck transport company to get it to the dealer?
