  1. So after reading your post Jesse628wallick, this seems to be my 2022 King which has all of this except for the HUD option. I had the Google maps live traffic for 3 months and dropped it not welling to pay the $39 month or something. I love the 12" screen and the birds eye with front/rear and etc views, i just wish I could select a camera "view hold" on the display. Its a pain to back up to a trailer hit "ball view" then every time I move forward then back I have to then hit the "ball view" again. This would be a easy software fix, IMO. I'm looking forward to see whats really new in 25 or 2026 models. Hope they continue to improve the experience.
  2. I'd love a ATI tank but hear in NYS its illegal to have over 100 gallons total as you have to display a special HAZE-MAT certificate and labels on truck, etc. I live in the Catskills, gas is pricey so I'd love to get filled up 20-25 cents cheaper on trips. Looks nice setup. Rob
  3. I've been watching this, find it confusing why some have or don't have HUD in 90K 2024 trucks. I have a 22 King with the 7.3, so the other day I'm driving out of town with my Android phone connected and Waze running and on the side of the screen where it has radio or Nav stuff, my screen reads " HUD display active", really funny over all I think. Never seen it since, just odd.
  4. So I've had 3 King Ranchs over the last 10 yrs and all have the power folding mirrors. I keep my 2022 in a garage and fold and unfold every day, never had a problem until now. Any suggestions from the group on how to lube the outside to help the mirrors fold and unfold. Both now move like 2" and stop. I'm 2 and half years in so could goto the dealer, if i have to. Thanks Rob
  5. Thanks Akirby; hes looking at standard STX level but is trying to get the exact trim level set in his mind. thaks rob
  6. WOW, no replys so i guess everyone is getting dodges....
  7. Just wondering for a friend, whats the time line to get a mostly standard F150 STX with no bells or whistles? I get his 2012 F150 STX with 36k on it and sooner the better. thanks Rob
  8. Glad I didn't buy 4 or 5 sticks with the 3" in mind, any reason for going back to 2.5". Rob
  9. mobil One in my King for sure.
  10. love my KR with the 7.3, no problems at 19K miles. This motor is the first gas motor to move this truck correctly, I've had 4 other Kings, never needed a diesel. Just my 2c.
  11. I'd love a new King Ranch in magnetic grey. Never Happen with the team at Ford.
  12. I've had alot of troubles picking a Ford superduty color. I don't think I'm alone!
  13. Did Ford actually put the chrome King Ranch cover on the tail gate again, it ruins the look for sure. Glad my 22 doesn't have it.
  14. Apples and Oranges, just my 2 cents. You pulling a dozer behind the Raptor?
  15. So my 22 F350 King is almost years old in mid Aug. I have about 15K miles and around town get 11 or so with 15 in longer highway trips. Love the 7.3 out of all the 4 previous Kings with gas only. The 10 speed is unreal and with the std 3.73 rear works great for me in upstate NY mountains. In the hot weather, the massage-cool seats are a bonus. Rob
  16. Wow as I read this, I'm so glad I got my 2022 King with the 7.3 gas and full LED's. Its awesome. This order and wait 10 months, then they change you to halogens and say "sorry" is crazy. Hold your orders, its worth the wait! Rob
  17. BMS (Battery Management System), never seen this on our trucks. My BMW needed to be "informed" of new battery, but my superduty? My son uses the Yellow Optima's dual set up in his 7.3 diesel. They are twice the quality of the regular type batteries.
  18. Now what's going on, all production halted due to battery "problem" on Feb 14th, any idea's? Rob P.S. I'm in the order banks for a Lightning this summer.
  19. Thanks, I'll try that soon. One item that could be significantly improved is the light switch. Poorly seen not well illuminated. Maybe my 2025 will have the light switch engineered a little better. Thanks Rob
  20. So my 2022 F350 King Ranch is a great truck. Its been super over the last year and 11K mile. Recently while I had my Fisher V-plow attached I noticed a Icon next to the light/fog-light area on the dash next to the compress heading area a Blue headlight icon with a A in the middle. My manual says its the Auto Hi Beam control icon saying I'm in that mode. However after I dropped my plow I can't get the icon or get the auto hi beam function to pop on or work.....Manual says to flash from low to high to activate the function, that doesn't work. Any one have this or is this something my plow lights started that's not on my 2022 maybe in the 2023's. Thought my King Ranch had about all the bells and whistles but could have paid more, LOL. thanks Rob
  21. Another Ford Accessory I have is the very light weight bed "plastic" carpet. Its a 3/4" foam mat with a plastic top. I wanted the hard rubber ones they made from 2010 to whenever but the dealer got this for me. Its ok but almost blew out coming home with it on day one. I can remove it easily to hose it off but I ripped a hole in it loading a pallet of tile. Just my 2cents.
  22. Well some back road sand and rock damage for sure, but I guess the point is Ford's use of a front mud flap that's like 5" long up front does nothing to protect the rear wheel lip from constant road spray damage. I paid extra for the mud flaps, hence the reason I replied to this Accessories posting. I'll add this happened within 6 months and 5K miles.
  23. To all the northern salt using state truck buyers, the Ford mud flaps are a joke. My 22 KR has significant road/salt rash on both sides of the rear wheel wells because the front flaps don't stop the spray and with the fancy auto deploy steps kept tucked up the spray hits the wheel lips. Glad I got the extra paint protection that I'll use at the 35 month mark. See pic. its much worse after this was taken 6 months ago. Rob
  24. i love my 7.3 every time I see diesel $2.00 a gallon more than 87. Just my 2 cents. rob
  25. Thanks sd350, that might work. about 450 total but look super. I have to look at the light pocket and see if this conversion will fit. Rob
