    Greetings

Both will go to my son in the future. He will have to learn how to drive a manual to drive the 1970.?
  2. What is the scheduling cycle for this go around? Is it FE, VIPs and Priority orders the first week, all others the next week and two weeks of cleanup? Thanks.
  3. Ford described commodity constraints that were not unique to any trim level. Where did you hear or read that the Badlands trim level is not likely to build?
  4. I have the DORA to show what went into WBDO. That does not mean that it got all the way up to Momma Ford in Michigan. With the email about tops this afternoon, if this does not get resolved, I will not get a 2021. Can you sense my level of frustration?
  5. I thought I was allowed to change my order at anytime up until I had a VIN assigned. Based on that knowledge, I changed from Black Diamond to Badlands in May. After the Webasto fiasco at the end of May, I switched again to a Badlands 4 door with soft top. Called the Customer Care number [800-334-4375] to ask what the system shows for my order. Was told it is a 2 door Black Diamond. That is not what was input into WBDO by my dealer. Where is the disconnect? This is why I do not have a VIN and build date. How do I resolve the disconnect between WBDO and what is reflected on Ford.com? Talking on the phone went in circles. Rant over.
  6. The news of the plant shutdown on the weeks of 5 and 26 July to let constraints catch up seems like a good approach since August is the beginning of full rate production. I talked to my dealership yesterday and none of the Broncos there have been given VINs. I am #5 in their allocation. I hope that this catches up with itself and I can get my VIN issued and get my truck soon. Fingers crossed once again. v/r, Mike
  7. Silvrsvt, I agree that on-boarding in a virtual environment can be difficult. The growing pains of introducing those employees to cube farm life are going to be huge. I hope HR is prepared for that and the managers can understand the growing pains of integrating a new person into an office dynamic they do not understand. That will be the biggest hurdle as companies go back to in-person office working environments. v/r, Mike
  8. Ford isn't the only business to find out that people are productive at home and like the absence of office politics and distractions. It has occurred where I work and some organizations have not shifted away from 100% telework. I however, am back 100% of the time. I work in a small office (5 personnel) and we support the other organizations in the building. Some of those organizations only come in one to two days a week. I think by August we will know what the future holds for 100% occupancy in the building. Companies have come to the conclusion that they can save costs on building space that has been proven unnecessary and may move away from a large footprint presence now and in the future. We shall see what becomes of this revelation brought on by the pandemic.
  9. That would be nice at every dealership. When I placed my order, they took me on a tour and took me to where the truck would be when ready for pickup and it was nothing more than a large garage bay. There were a few trucks, a GT 40 and a Bronco Sport in the garage. Hope to see mine in there soon (fingers crossed).
  10. Why would a customer vehicle be on the showroom floor? This is more than likely a mannequin for the dealership to showcase the Bronco. Nice looking vehicle irrespective of retail or demo. If the MGV seats are anything like the ones I saw and sat on at a Bronco roadshow event, I like them and think they are as good as leather without the cost.
  11. Fuzzymoomoo, My dealer did not give me what their total allocation was, just that I am #5 in that allocation. I am a Day 1 reservation, within 2 hours and 10 minutes of launch. I can only hope for the golden email in the next three weeks. My fingers and toes hurt from being crossed so much. v/r, Mike
  12. Firemedic2714, Are you saying you got an email or you are wondering why you did not get an email? Join the club of those who did or did not get emails. I am in the did not club. The fact is there is no scheduling for the Bronco this week. I can only hope to get a build soon and my truck by October. Anything earlier is icing on the cake. v/r, Mike
  13. Buckin', I am so glad that someone is about to get the best vehicle in a quarter century. I can only hope to get a build date soon for mine. I ordered a Badlands, 4 Door in Antimatter Blue, V-6, Auto and High package with a soft top. I am a Priority 10 at my dealership here in CO. v/r, Mike

    Greetings

Rlambert, Simple colors, Mojave Tan and Wimbledon White (just like factory except for cut fenders and flares). I give the honor to Keith and Mike who did the bodywork and paint. This was the first Bronco they had done and they knocked it out of the park. I tried to give it to them fairly straight (except for all of the flash rust from fording a stream). This was the culmination of 3 years of garage time and with help from my son and wife. v/r, Mike
  15. Ice, thanks. Kind of feeling left out on getting scheduled. I am a day 1 reservation and eliminated all constraints except for V-6 in my build.
  16. Ice, Can you confirm that the Ford Bronco will not have build dates scheduled this week? I have seen it over at B6G that there will be no scheduling for Bronco this week and that is the last I had seen. In addition, if a build does not occur before the end of September, can it still be called a 2021? Thanks. v/r, Mike
  17. Understood. Still relevant today since the prices of Classic Broncos just continue to increase. I did not know this forum existed until yesterday. I have been a member of Classic Broncos since 2009 and Full Size Broncos from 2004 to 2009. Sorry to dig up the dead on this one. Admins can lock it if necessary.
  18. Ice-capades, Did you see what serial number 1 of the First Editions sold for at auction? That truck brought $1,075,000. To be honest, that is $1M more than retail and that truck will never see driven status. I understand collecting, but not collecting dust. These vehicles were built to be driven. v/r, Mike
  19. Migs, I was surprised on the lower and mid prices as well. That would explain why someone would ask $15,000 for something that would require a tetanus shot to even be around. In addition, that is why you see restored trucks going for >$100,000 in ads. Check out the cost of a restoration by ICON or Gateway and you will be stunned. My 1970, that I just finished restoring has $55,000 tied up in it and is insured accordingly. I want two Broncos in my stable and am waiting on a VIN for a 4 Door Badlands right now.
  20. David, If the problem is new, you go back to the last change. Since the last things done were tires and alignment, please have the balance on the tires checked again. The tire balance machine only goes to 55-60 MPH for balancing. There could be issues at the higher speeds. Are the tires the OEM size? How many miles on the suspension? There could be a lot of contributing factors that affect the stability at speed. Hope this helps with troubleshooting. v/r, Mike
  21. I will try to go in order: 1979 Mercury Bobcat (Pinto's cousin) 1976 Mustang II Mach II with 302 V8 1978 Ford Bronco (351M) 1979 Mustang (302 with C4) 1983 Ford Ranger 1979 Ford F-150 1985 Ford Taurus 1990 Ford Taurus 1993 Ford Ranger (Splash) 1985 Ford Escort (European Spec) in Germany 2000 Ford Taurus 1978 Ford Bronco 2004 Ford Taurus 1988 Ford F-150 1993 Ford Bronco (Eddie Bauer) 1970 Ford Bronco (Sport Edition) 2013 Ford Fusion 2014 Ford Fusion (Titanium) 2000 Ford Focus ZTS 2003 Ford Focus ZX3 On Order and waiting on VIN: 2021 4 Door Badlands Bronco in Antimatter Blue, V6, Auto, High Package and Soft Top
  22. Guys, To be honest, the classic Broncos are demanding excellent prices for what you are getting. According to NADA a junker could go for $15,100. A partially restored truck could go for $26,400. Last, a restored Bronco could go for $55,000 and more.

    Greetings

I am a Forever Ford fan and owner. I have owned nothing but Blue Ovals since the 1980's. I am here to find out when my 2021 Badlands Bronco will be built. I am a Day 1 Reservation and ordered in January. I have waited for 25 years for Ford to remedy the mistake of no longer making the Bronco. I have owned two 1978 Ford Broncos and a 1993 Eddie Bauer. Just finished restoring my 1970 Bronco. Unfinished last year at Bronco Super Celebration West, it wound up in three pictures in Issue 86 of Bronco Driver magazine.
