  1. By my calendar it's late 2021 and providing customers with information on their $65,000 plus purchase should be easy to do - and not impacted at all by a pandemic supply chain issue. All I saying in the 1995 reference is my expectations were met and the company didn't offer anything they couldn't deliver.
  2. Pandemic has nothing to do with the tracking system.. not complaining about supply chain issues as I am understanding of that. Complaining about a tracking system that has been down for weeks. If you have not seen the email customers get to confirm orders, they give us a hyperlink button to "check the progress" anytime. It's a experience we are told we have but it's not working and no one seems to care. There's no supply chain issue on information is there?
  3. In 1995 I ordered my wife a mini van from Chrysler. Salesman told us it would be about 8 weeks and he would call us in about 6 weeks to update us. Chrysler sent us a postcard to acknowledge and thank us for the order and confirming they had built it later. We took delivery at about 7 weeks and were very happy with the process. We had the experience we were told we would have and were pleased.
  4. It's now been over two weeks since I was able to track my built 2022 F150. It's maddening that resource's can not be allocated by Ford to resolve this or even provide an acknowledge ofthe problem. I'm not an IT or programming specialist but this is 2021 and it's not ground breaking tech. Consumer's expect a better purchasing experience than this.
  5. Good information.. My Sept 20th order for a MY21 F150 was converted by Ford to MY22. When the window sticker actually became available there was an increase of about $1,000. This will be good to know in a couple of weeks when I do the paperwork at delivery.
  6. On the '21 chrome package Lariat - I just didn't like the 20's wheel nearly as well as the 18's wheel. So just from a style / taste standpoint no way I wanted to upgrade $1,300 for 20's. Plus the benefits of the 18 inch sidewall choice was easy for me.
  7. All the pending F150 orders are displaying "F150 Lightning" as the ordered truck. At this point no one can get any reliable information on their 2022 orders. This really needs improvement!

  9. That sitnks! From my pending F150 order I know the spray in issue is for real. I dropped it from my order and I was scheduled the next week. Could you just order another truck? Your dealer shouldn't mind because he can quickly retail your old order when it comes in. For you though you want to make sure you don't lose any incentives be doing this.
  10. Always tinted my trucks to match back windows. As I've gotten older though my night vision just isn't what it used to be so the darker tint is a problem now. On my next truck I'll go a much lighter tint with more focus on UV protection.
  11. Can anyone give an update on the DTP production this weekend. Hear on another forum that they sent everyone home over parts supply issues. Specifically worried about a truck I've ordered that is in production 12/2.
