  1. You're right, maybe this picture will help make someone think twice and check what hardware they're using.
  2. Thought I'd post this in case anyone uses these for towing or rigging. 3. Mee too, extra-extra glad I went with OEM with the new truck. Amp worked fine for 2 years up here in snow/ice/salt country roads. Then the problems started. Steps go down, only retract half way. Open door, step only opens 3 quarters. Then doesn't close all the way. Call customer service they say try this, try that, watch the video... Disassemble steps, bracket, motor, spray with $30. worth of "dry"silicone" re-assemble same as before. Call ball back, they tell me start over again. Took video of monitoring with digital volt meter, etc.... DONE! Would NEVER recommend anyone buy that crap unless your truck resides in South Florida or Southern California. And their 5 year warranty, you can wipe your a$$ with it!
  4. 1000 lbs is double what Fisher recommends for ballast in my truck. That would definitely raise the front end. I was lucky when I purchased my V-plow. Got my truck at the end of winter so I never plowed until the following season. Installed beginning of May for $6100 plus I got the upfitter rebate on top of that for my LLC which at the time was $1500. It's down to $500 now. If I stumble on an extra $1000 I'll consider adding the LED's lol! Dave Yes I did get the plow package. From what I've read those are the largest front springs available at 5990 lbs.
  5. I was under the impression front springs are the same for 250/350's with snowplow prep package, only rear springs are different. Neighbor has a 22 f350, I'll take some measurements. Are you running ballast in the bed? I haven't put the sandbags in yet because I needed to haul wood. Will probably do that this week and maybe it will bring the front up some. We'll see. The Intensifire LED's were not available when I bought my plow. Looked into adding a set for around a grand, OUCH! They gotta be way better.
  6. The truck plows like a bear but I do have one gripe/annoyance with the 22 f250, front end ride height. When traveling with the plow on I'm scraping way too much. Any kind of dip in the road or raised driveway apron, the blade hits hard. Not just light scraping I occasionally had with the 2019. Running the same Fisher 8 1/2' Stainless XV2. I realize this truck is 1" lower which probably means to remedy it's gonna need some sort of lift to get the blade up. And if I lift the front then I need to do the same to the rear or it's gonna look off. Not something I wanted to do but I don't see any other way to resolve this.
  7. Good looking trucks. I like that style chrome wheel but they only come with the chrome package. The power steps were more important but aren't available when you select chrome package so I got the aluminum rims.
  8. At first there was no data, no tag #, nothing. As I probably read here, when the truck is energized when plugged into Ford's master server (I made that up) and woke up the list populates with Modules and data. I didn't have to do anything, it just shows up. Then I printed the pages as a PDF, 28 pages worth,
  9. I'm also interested in knowing how this size (295/65-20) works with a 2022 F250 with snowplow option. I have a set of Platinum rims that will be used when plowing season is over and want a bigger tire while leaving the suspension alone.
  10. I'm guessing here but the HEX code (FORSCAN) that shows up on the as built is when your truck wakes up. Mine was missing a module due to a chip hold. When my truck was finally built, I looked up the as built and the last module showed up with it's HEX code. At first the list was empty. I'm sure the.ab file is more complete than what show on the list. 28 Pages is what shows on mine and that's only for the BCE Modules.
  11. Didn't come with my 2019 SD as I bought it off the lot. My other vehicles all came with LED's so I was disappointed with the yellow light. Bought LED Beamtech's but hated the blueish tint then went with Morimoto XB with matching fogs. Awesome lights but at $1800.+, the LED option on my new truck was a no brainer. Highly recommend. 's
  12. I think your bumper will be fine, my plow weighs almost a stupid ridiculous 1000lbs. Squats very little when lifting.
  13. I did read your post. When I was removing parts I added on my previous truck (2019), I opened the hood and there was the liner and under hood light. Hmmm... Followed the light wires into a wrapped bundle with no connector/plug. Probably would have removed it if I could of just unplugged it but didn't want to leave the next owner with possible issues cutting wires. Some things are better left alone. And for the money spent, the liner and under hood light should be an included option for all trucks.
  14. Now that is one nice truck, wow! Even my girl commented, "what a pretty truck" lol. I told her pretty awesome! Good luck bud, hope you have many miles of pure enjoyment owning/driving that beauty.
  15. Sorry It's been a long day. 2wd looks fine unless you want to show off some dual steering stabilizer bling, then I recommend a tremor shorty. Got mine from Fairway Ford for $91.92 + shipping.
  16. Ordered the 2wd valence before my truck got built. Was on back order but it arrived the day my truck was in the shop getting plow switched over. Perfect timing because it needed to be trimmed for the plow frame.
  17. I can definitely feel the difference pushing snow with the 7.3 compared to my old 2019 with the smaller engine. Cleaned up around 3-4 inches on my 1100' road this past weekend. No sweat. The ride is very different too with and without the plow, in a good way. I've also noticed the front doesn't squat as much when the blade is lifted. We'll see once it gets broken in after hitting snowbanks all winter. lol j/k
  18. Picked up on Friday, love the truck. Getting another 1 1/2 mpg with the 7.3 traveling with the plow on compared to the 2019 6.2. Hate the rims and Goodyear Wranglers (junk) but will use them this winter. Had the turbine rims on a 71 Corvette back in the day for crying out loud! Already bought a set of take-off Platinum rims for summer. ?
  19. I'm sure you read the following by now ... PRICE PROTECTION 2022 model units invoiced prior to December 8, 2021 will not be re-invoiced. Automatic price protection will be provided on: • Firm 2022-model fleet, retail, and demonstrator orders signed and dated on or before December 7, 2021, and received by Ford Motor Company on or before December 11, 2021. • Fleet CPA or GPC orders will continue to be price protected to the individual customer’s contract agreement or bid date.
  20. GM at my Ford store said, if deal/order was made prior to December 8 you're locked in. Anything else you're SOL Pretty simple.
  21. Plow being installed end of next week on new F250 7.3 10 spd with 3.55's. Coming from a 6.2 6 speed with 3.73's & 8 1/2 V-plow. Anxious to find out for myself after a few weeks, I'll follow up.
  22. Truck arrived today, quoting my own post for insight about the waiting game. I believe the Christmas shutdown skewed the process in my favor being they wanted to finish trucks sitting in limbo waiting for "commodities." ?
  23. They need to buff out a few scratches from falling off the train. ?
  24. Packaged option for Lariat, standard on KR Platinum and Limited. Doc1.pdf Doc1.docx
  25. I'm looking at Kentucky to northern NY, your truck is crossing a continent then traveling the Pacific! lol Good luck Sorry I can't be more helpful...
