  1. Just called and my delivery has updated. Could be within the next 3 days. got even better news, i apparently have two pco’s. How do i go about checking them and rules to use? The ford marketing only had the numbers. He couldn’t tell me how much or what it was for etc… anyone able to help guide or check into that? i’m hesitant to ask my dealer as i have been fighting price protection for a month and they have been giving me wrong info etc… so i dont think theyll want to honor my pco if they dont have to. It’s been a horrible experience.

  4. Truck finally arrived in town at the local depot. does the dealer generally schedule an auto transport to go pick it up? I would imagine there would be other vehicles arriving or to other dealerships to when the auto transport gets dispatched. Curious to how long the dealer would let it sit at the depot before picked up. Excited!
  5. thanks for the update, much appreciated. I’m just a small fish in the vast of orders, but is this something I should bring up to the dealer or it’ll sort itself out with the strain on logistics? Weird I did not even get a new ETA yet.

  9. Hoping to get some movement this week. Sitting for 22 days so far at the railyard. So close yet so far to getting the truck.

  11. In the same boat with shipping, unless mine hasn’t been updated on the Ford side… we shall see. Wanting to lock in rates now, but such a toss up if it’ll be here within 30-60 days.
  12. Seems like there is definitely a shipping delay going on. Good/bad? Pumping out more trucks and now the shipping has caught up. Who knows. My estimated time frame is this week and I don’t believe it’s moved since it got to the railyard. I’m already anticipating a shipping delay email. Interesting enough, other trucks have been built after, shipped and received. I’d guess region based. Any thoughts or anyone have knowledge of tbe ship process?
  13. Hello, thank you for the last update. Third times a charm, but I feel as I’ll be getting my delayed shipping email this upcoming week.   14. i saw, he gave me a copy stating this was it. I told him this is for STOCK units and my order is RETAIL. He stated it is the same thing and that he also asked this question, but the inventory manager stated it qualifies. thats the thing, he claims as a sales manager he has no idea what this price protection is and does not know the process. I gave him a week to see a status and still no answer and provided me this in bound stock printed notice from April 4. I came into the dealer April 1, and he stated this was the process, but “was still waiting for answers”. He stated he reached out to fmcdealer and no reply. Not sure of the internal process so i can’t really tell him any of that stuff. Just told him my order is retail and not a stock unit. I don’t think he’s too pleased i am an informed customer. He also did not know what a DORA was. Again, maybe this new retail process being new, but i thought it was a little surprising that my salesman knew what it was but not the sales manager. Hard to believe. I don’t know the exact process where I can tell him to go file the price protection but getting the run around for sure. Glad I came in earlier than when my truck arrives to get it squared away. If it was x plan and price didn’t go up, this would be such a smooth transaction. they even tried to charge me $499 for doc fees instead of $100 for x plan, sales guy said “oh yeah…”.
  15. Good morning, if I am able to get a status update when you get a chance? If it still shows the same status as it has the last two weeks, does that mean it has “left” shelbeyville due to the “in transit” status or currently sitting at the yard waiting to leave based on your experience with tracking? Not sure if it hasn’t updated because it is in enroute to it’s next destination scan or hasn’t left yet since it hasn’t been assigned a rail car number.   16. In case anyone has issues with price protection, my dealer is giving me the run around with a refunded check. They are trying to process it under the “In bound stock units and registration through smart vincent” stating my “retail” order from September falls under it. I stated to them it is a retail order but he said he spoke with the inventory manager and was told otherwise. Been a week and getting the run around. Ive given the benefit of the doubt to the dealer but unfortunately I had to call ford marketing to reach out to a ford rep for some resolution. sales manager of several years (ive given him benefit of the doubt) stated he has never seen price protection and my vehicle will get “reinvoiced” and ill get a check 30-45 days. we’ll see where this goes. I thought it would be a smooth x plan transaction too. Womp. edit. I write this in hopes to provide solutions and steps for others who may face this in the future. Great insight on these boards from moderators to employees where we can be an informed customer for our purchases, regardless of vehicle.
  17. Oh I definitely know about the delays. Going on month 7. I was just curious if something specific is going on with shipping. Talked to a few others who also stated there truck has been in no mans land after getting a shipped notification. I feel for the people who have ordered before me!
  18. is there a train delay or some type of delay going on at the factory? mine shows “in transit-received-ramp shelbeyville, KY” not sure if thats still at the plant yard or elsewhere. Been like that for over a week so far. So either it’s on the move or still stationary? No rail car #, sticker shows convoy.
  19. Going to try to hit the 1k as well. Any other things to change aside oil before towing during “break in”. i wondered if the computer is able to show hooked up before 1k miles and dealer is able to see that in the computer to void a warranty, etc..
  20. that’s actually a great idea and be able to document it in the notes of if using x plan, price protection (as some dealers are not doing it) and other incentives during the order discussed about.

  22. they just may not encounter it too much but I was speaking with a 7 year senior sales manager. Ill give him benefit of the doubt, but would like to provide him insight on the right track to help him for future sales and obviously my own sale. yeah, it got invoiced this month. Maybe due to truck being built/sticker, etc… i ordered in september so thought I would be locked in from the two increases. Currently up $2295 from original. I also dont know what original x plan was from my DORA sheet as they never provided one. Today was the first day I saw my x plan price.
  23. @ice-capades Is there an exact process to properly apply the price protection in house with the dealer? Like what do they need to do? reason i ask is they stated they have not seen the documents for price protection but will “try” to get the vehicle reinvoiced. It was invoiced in march, with the updated price. I ordered in September before two price increases, brought both forms to the dealer to show price protection. The sales manager stated he would try to get it reinvoiced. Is that the correct channel to get price protection? thank you for the clarification on this price protection.
  24. How can we verify if its fixed/updated. Just ran my VIN and maybe they did it at factory, but recall came out yesterday or i think couple days ago and my truck had already been built/shipped. My vin did not show the recall was needed.
  25. Nice, saw also they have a TSB for it. Not sure if that's the actual fix related to this recall. Once I receive my truck in a couple weeks, I’m going to have my dealer go do this and any other updates/recalls.
