Many newer vehicles have backup cameras and a lot have 360 degree cameras. Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to put a big SSD on there with wifi. Or maybe this exists already? I couldn't find one so I put a dedicated dash cam in my van and had to run a wire to the back for the rear. Would be nice if I could just record the existing cameras including the sides.

A tonneau cover made of solar panels might help. Drive a couple hundred miles, camp a couple days, drive home.

Are you sure holes are required? Even so, that's probably not a big deal.

My van has a heated wheel and I'm not crazy about it. Rain sensing wipers? Meh.

I don't really like any kind of extra labels. It seems like advertising the vehicle to a potential buyer. I bought it, no more need to advertise. I find Chevies to have some of the most cringe worthy like the year(s) Camaros had ABS in the wheel hubs. And ABS is now like, meh, whatever. But now those Camaro owners are stuck with that if they want to stay stock.

I just checked Texas law on tint and apparently the limit is 25% on the front windows and no limit in back as long as you have side mirrors. Also, you can get a medical exemption to ignore the 25% on the front. I wonder though would you be at risk if you drove to another state?

The kit is about $100 more than the option and install is maybe $500 more. I'll do it myself for less than $50.

Looks like all the schematics show the 2 batteries in parallel so the benefits would be more starting amps and more amps available to run 'things.' Would this extend battery life? Probably not by twice particularly in a hot environment. Would there be a way to determine if one of them was heading south? Would one going bad shorten the other's life or would they typically die together anyway?

He wrote back not to worry about it and he would cancel the order. I can't be sure if he will but I figure I'm no longer in the multiple SD order category.

Thought about this a while and when I informed my first dealer I wasn't going to complete the order I asked if I could post his info here and if someone else wants what I ordered, they can take it over and have a 4 month head start on the wait. I haven't received VIN or anything so I think options can still be changed but I don't know about trim level.

Do you have a link for these? I like the 22 but maybe a few of the F-150 options would be nice like max recline seats?

I personally don't like the look but to each their own. I makes me think commercial vehicle and perhaps yours is or you just like them which is fine. As for leaks or whatever I would ask the installer about their experience and how they seal and prevent damage. Perhaps look at the kit to see what provisions there are for sealing the lights themselves from weather as well as sealing the holes. I think there is more space above the headliner than you might think so I wouldn't worry about damaging it. My biggest concern would be them getting aligned properly as out of line would not look good. I've not heard anything about this. Did you see an article or something?

I would expect the topper manufacturer could give the spec on the height above the bed rails. Then measure that against your 350 front and rear.
