  1. Sorry to hear that. What is Ford doing to assist? I assume you’re going straight to priority 02.
  2. That’s separate from Ford-mandated priced increases. Yes, many dealers mark up stock orders and cancelled retail (custom) orders. If you buy off the lot, you have no price protection.
  3. Thanks for the info. Question - did Granger tell you what your base price would be relative to invoice on the 2023 order? It was 2% under invoice for 2022, but with the allocation restriction I think they alluded to invoice + $1500 for 2023. Curious if cancelled orders get grandfathered in on sub-invoice pricing. I’m sitting on a Dec 5 production week and know I’m a delay or two away from getting cancelled.
  4. I have a 2022 Escape Titanium order scheduled for production this week. Window sticker has been generated and no signs of cancellation.
  5. We can look to other models that have already balanced out for a hint of what may happen to waiting super duty customers. As of now it seems they’ll issue a PCO to offset increases in MSRP. The big question is what happens to allocations. According to Granger, Ford is no longer granting incremental allocation for retail orders. They’re capped at 120 units for the year no matter how many customers want to buy a truck. With over 220 customers in line for the 2023 MY and order banks already open, simple math tells us that there may not be allocations available for people whose 2022 orders get cancelled at the end of production. While I’d like to assume good dealers kept allocations in reserve to replace at risk 2022 orders, I want to know if Ford will grant additional allocation to take care of those who get screwed and have a dealer with no 2023 allocations remaining.
  6. My understanding is that KTP builds pickups (consumer vehicles) and OHAP builds chassis cabs (commercial vehicles).
  7. Ordertrack.app has a link to view module status for your order.
  8. I haven’t seen anything. Ford gave me a heart attack today though. I got an email titled “order your 2023 super duty” and thought they cancelled my order. Turned out to be a generic marketing email. Phew!
  9. That would be a cookie cutter email acknowledging your frustration, applauding your patience, offering no solutions, and providing no timeline for progress. They’re not emailing you because nothing has changed on their end.
  10. I’m curious if that was an unintended carryover statement from the gas engines that accept regular but run best on premium.
  11. The implied message from my rep is that when they start taking orders for 2023, allocations will run out regardless of whether they’ve been picked up for scheduling. They’ve got 120 slots and they’re presumably taking 120 orders. We didn’t discuss whether they’re holding X amount of allocations for at risk 2022 order holders, or if Ford corporate will award incremental allocations for cancelled 2022 orders. So long as my 2022 remains scheduled for production, I’m trying not to blow up his inbox.
  12. Got some more news today, less than ideal. Ford is limiting their store to 120 super duty allocations for MY 2023. The wait list of buyers is double that. If my order gets cancelled by Ford after order banks open, they may not have an allocation available to re-order. Praying for a smooth 2022 production cycle as planned!
  13. Nice find! They’ve added more content to the B&P tool. HO diesel is about $2500 more than the standard one.
  14. My rep at Granger said they should receive a list of soon to be cancelled VINs if any of their customers are affected. It sure sounds like scheduled orders are in danger of getting axed, like IC said. My understanding is that orders cancelled after receiving a VIN get higher priority when converted to MY 2023. We should be going straight to priority 01/02 if the nightmare continues into the new year. The messier question is what happens to pricing on a re-order.
  15. I’m right there with you. Originally 11/28, now 12/5. No news is good news I guess.
  16. Following up on a question I asked a few days ago… not sure if you had a chance to see it. When specific features balance out, is that effective immediately? Or is that only for vehicles that have yet to get a production week + VIN by the time of the announcement?
  17. Are they trying to charge you for the nitrogen tire fills? This is generally regarded as snake oil if it’s not free.
  18. Take it to another dealer. This is a brand new high dollar truck. Fixing it is Ford’s problem.
  19. Go on the super duty page of the Ford site, click sign up for updates, and enter your email/mailing address. If you have to delete a few spam emails to save a couple grand, it is what it is.
  20. Your order number is that M143 code. The VIN will be emailed to you by Ford when the factory schedules you for production.
  21. That’s just a tracker. It has no bearing on your order. Think reference code.
  22. Priority codes are the dealer’s way of telling Ford which orders they want built first. Your dealer has 24/7 control of your priority code. The lower the number, the higher the priority. Custom orders range from priority 10-19. Dealer stock ranges from 20-99ish. Your dealer can also petition their zone manager (ford regional rep) to upgrade your priority code beyond 10. Ford corporate can assign priority 02 or priority 01 in some cases. 02 is usually for people who’ve been waiting a long time, and 01 is for major issues like a truck getting totaled in transit from the factory.
  23. When options balance out, where does the cutoff sit? Is it unavailable from the day of the announcement - meaning if you aren’t built already you’re screwed - or is it “from this point forward this is only available for trucks already scheduled”?
  24. I went through Granger as well. Ordered a loaded Lariat in March. They seem to do a good job managing their order bank. I checked in with my rep Chip once a month. Each time, they usually had my priority code upgraded. By the end of the summer they got the zone manager to grant priority 02 without any nagging from me. In late September I received the holy “scheduled for production” email indicating a build the week of 11/28. That has since been bumped to 12/5 with no news in the last few weeks. If you have concerns, I would check in with your rep at Granger. Everyone I’ve dealt with there gave direct answers without playing games.
