  1. Ford has not revealed any changes to the Job #1 Date or told Dealers when 2022MY Super Duty orders will start scheduling.
  2. Per notice received from the regional office... 2022MY Super Duty orders will not be selected for scheduling this week.
  3. 2021 Ford Bronco Horsepower, Torque Ratings Released https://fordauthority.com/2021/05/2021-ford-bronco-horsepower-torque-ratings-revealed/
  4. Hmmm... I didn't even look at it! But then again, I think a lot of customers are going to have trouble telling the difference until they actually see the Bronco.
  5. Sales representatives are generally trained to sell from stock. The dealership makes their money sooner and the sales representative gets paid their commission sooner. When the customer wants a vehicle with specifications that aren't in stock, Dealers will usually try to locate the vehicle needed and trade with another dealership. However, there are times when a customer has very specific needs and it's better to order it. When inventory is tight, it's harder to meet a customer's requirements and easier to order the vehicle, especially if the customer doesn't need the vehicle ASAP and there's an incentive from Ford. The dealership takes the customer out of the market initially and still has their stock inventory to sell to another customer. Later, when the ordered vehicle arrives, it's a paper transaction with the vehicle being delivered within days of arrival and the dealership has no inventory floorplan expense.
  6. The 2021 Ford Bronco is more powerful than expected, but there's a catch https://www.foxnews.com/auto/2021-ford-bronco-more-powerful Similar to the impact of using premium gas on the EPA numbers.
  7. And the F-Series, both F-150 and Super Duty, are the most difficult because there are so many different models, trims, configurations, etc.
  8. Ford dealership websites are hosted by one of four automotive web hosts that a dealership can choose from. MSRP, Ford incentives and other pricing information is sent to the web host that then displays the vehicle pricing per the Dealer's pricing structure. Not all Dealers display pricing for A/X/Z Plan sales. D Plan prices are never displayed as D Plan pricing is restricted to dealership employees only. I checked a number of dealership websites last night and again earlier this morning and the pricing is screwed up on all the sites, regardless of which firm is hosting the individual sites.
  9. Congratulations! With the tight inventory situation, reduced production due to the microchip shortage, reduced incentives and many Dealers eliminating their discounts and selling at MSRP the X Plan is even more valuable these days. Hope your new truck gets scheduled, produced and shipped within a reasonable time!
  10. My dealership has about twice as many retail F-Series (F-150 & Super Duty) orders than usual but an average number of retail factory orders for the other vehicle lines.
  11. Retail orders usually don't start scheduling until the "Okay to Buy" status is achieved which is after 5 consecutive days of production with zero defects. There may be a notice in the scheduling notes that will be released on Tuesday or Wednesday about whether Ford will be making an exception to schedule retail orders due to the current production situation.
  12. It sounds more like a glitch in the pricing matrix distributed to one or more of the hosts for the Ford dealership websites. In addition, Ford would have to notify dealerships of any changes in the AXZD Plan programs and there have been none.
  13. The FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) was released and there are no changes to the 2022MY Super Duty timetable. It still shows scheduling starting on Thursday, May 13th and a Job #1 Date on June 24th. The Scheduling Toolbox at the FMCDealer.com portal still shows scheduling as TBD. The next source for information will be the scheduling and commodity weekly notice that is sent by the regional office on Tuesday and Wednesday. I'll post an update with whatever information is received from the regional office.
  14. There is no Dealer allocation for fleet orders. The priority codes for fleet orders are actually a requested production week with a much longer OTD (Order-to-Delivery) timeframe. Ford decides how many fleet orders they'll schedule and produce out of available production capacity and then determines how many are available to each region. The fleet operation is totally separate and has no impact on allocation, scheduling or production of either stock or retail orders.
  15. WARNING NOTICE: Your behavior is nothing but bitching, complaining and abusive and you've refused repeatedly to provide specific information related to your vehicle order so... Enough already with Andy Met's abusive behavior and refusal to provide specific information so that members can try to assist him. PENALTY: Banned from posting indefinitely!
  16. Okay Andy Met... enough already. Now I'll have the last laugh!
  17. Get it straight... You can either provide specific information so that members can try to help you or you can stop the bitching and abusive behavior right NOW!
  18. That's hardly the case. There are a lot of healthy discussions here at BOF with criticism of Ford, along with agreeing to disagree between those with opposing viewpoints. I think I have a high tolerance but get annoyed when disagreements become nothing more than a pissing match satisfying egos or some other agenda. And all too often the problems are with newer members trolling and not contributing anything productive to the site. And a lot of times I'll let things slide and not bother responding out of an abundance of caution to not overreact. My patience with disruptive behavior and other ongoing actions is wearing thin. To anyone reading this thinking I'm always pro-Ford, that could hardly be the case. I couldn't begin to count the number of times over the past 35 years that I expressed my criticisms of Ford in person to Ford representatives. I spend far too much time providing information to this site and assisting members on the public forums here and privately to be wasting my time with nonsense. I started a conversation with the other moderators a few months ago about behaviors on the site getting out of control. The result was that the moderators became more pro-active in taking action when it was necessary and that's something that's an ongoing process. As moderators, we act independently but share a common goal of maintaining and even improving the site's success by being the best resource for Ford customers and enthusiasts looking for information or assistance.
  19. Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) that provides the order bank, scheduling and production timetable information still hasn't been released. I'll keep checking but it may not be available until tomorrow morning so we can see if the 2022MY Super Duty timetable has been pushed back.
  20. I wouldn't be surprised either. If the overall production cuts are as deep as the forecasts for the next 3 months are longer, the first priority will be to supply enough microchips to F-Series production in order to maintain both profits and sales leadership.
  21. How many posts are you going to make bitching and crying and complaining about Ford and the BOF members? Knock it off NOW!
  22. The big jump in demand for computers, consumer electronics, appliances, etc. took up the microchip supply when automotive demand plummeted and now there just isn't enough production available to supply the chips. Add in the fire at a major Japanese plant that supplies microchips to Ford and the mess got only worse until that plant can get back to full production in the next few months.
  23. Someone might be able to help but you need to give us information to work with. Otherwise, all you're doing is complaining.
