    2022 Escape Order Guide
  14. Retail orders are price protected to the Price Level in effect at the time the original order was received by Ford. Vehicle Invoices and Window Stickers are generated at the prices in effect at the time the vehicle is produced. Dealers file a claim for the price protection which is an internal accounting matter.
  15. Not all vehicle lines schedule on a weekly basis. Ford used to provide Dealers scheduling information for a month in advance but now provides the information only on a weekly basis due to changing plant schedules caused by the microchip shortage and supplier issues.
  16. The screen capture image is a modified version from the old CONCEPS ordering system which is really used only for fleet orders now. The order priority code isn't included. The customer e-mail has to be attached to the order in the WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system. The partial VIN number shown includes only the VIN designators for the model's common elements and has nothing to do with scheduling status.
  17. I'm thinking that Ford Customer Service is probably getting flooded with calls from customers asking for retail vehicle order information, VIN numbers, scheduling information, status updates, etc. If Ford has changed their policy and limiting the information they'll provide or the conditions, blame the Dealers for not providing the information that is so readily available to them. It's the Dealers job, make them do it!
  18. That's fine but the source information you provided (thanks!) is related to Fleet orders, not Retail. Ford Fleet scheduling is an entirely different process with substantially longer lead times OTD (Order to Delivery).
  19. The 2022MY Super Duty has only been in production for about 5 weeks and now the speculation is starting about orders being cut off next month. If and when Ford makes that change, Ford will issue the appropriate notice to its Dealers. Until then, consider the sources of the speculation and/or the motivation to get customer orders now rather than later.
  20. Ford has taken responsibility for the Bronco roof issues and doing everything possible to resolve the issue and is compensating customers for the continued delays required. The subject has been discussed countless times and really needs no further discussion which is just furthering what's turned into a "pissing match" in my opinion. Further arguing is just plainly unproductive and likely to soon provoke a more direct and unwelcome response.
  21. Priority code changes to anything below a "10" are made only by Ford or the Ford Regional offices. It's a bit interesting that 2 BOF members are saying that their orders were changed to "02" rather than "01". I can't remember the last time I saw an order changed to "02" and can't tell you the specific difference between "01" and "02" but "01" is the more desirable. It's not important to know the reason why so don't start asking your Dealer why you have "02" instead of an "01" priority code. Just be glad for the change! A priority code change by the regional office doesn't mean that the order will be scheduled that day, the next day or the next week. The change forces the system to review the order at a higher priority for scheduling and attempt to make exceptions to any commodity restraints in place in order to expedite scheduling. Depending on the factors involved, it can still take a week or longer before the order will get scheduled. Again, it's not important to know why your priority code was changed, just be glad and let the system work. If you push for answers why the change was made, it's just as easy for the priority code to be changed again to something much less desirable! FYI... do NOT attempt to make any changes to your order or the system will automatically restore your priority code to the previous 10-19 code.
  22. SCHEDULING TOOLBOX - SCHEDULING PLAN This is the tentative scheduling plan for the production period. This is just a guide for scheduling. This information is tentative and may change at any time. THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO UNSCHEDULED ORDERS ONLY. Blue Oval Forums_Production Week Scheduling_2021-08-16.pdf
  23. The scheduling system looks at all "Unscheduled/Clean" orders based on priority codes, order date and compliance with commodity restraints.
  24. As akirby stated. A/X/Z/D Plan orders are just a version of a retail order and treated the same as any other retail order.
  25. Without a VIN number, the truck is NOT scheduled. The VIN numbers are generated and assigned as part of the scheduling process.
