Mark B. Morrow
I likey - a lot! :shades: Hmmm - I wonder if it will be available with the vinyl carriage roof option. 'Cause that is what I really want. I am sure your local dealer will be happy to accomodate your request. I saw a Montego with the carriage top just the other day. Wow what a '70s flash back. Hemiman
Frankly, in a luxury car universe where the current trend is to obliterate the bumper (see Cadillacs & Audis for best examples of this), I find the decision to make a distinction between the upper and lower grilles to be refreshing. Couldn't agree more!
ANTAUS
Whether there was a little bit more chrome on another, or a chrome ring, or a blacked out ring, or in some "trim levels", some of the chrome from the side window trims were removed (Like LS Sports), or it had a cute little pearl in a corner, blah blah it's irrelevant. My point was, they had similar cues which made them easily identifying as a Lincoln, or somewhat of a family resemblance. Now, we have total bastardization of everything possible, kinda like Anna Nicole Smith playing "Splash your baby juice and lets see who the winning stud is". Yes, it'll take awhile for a new theme to be phased in on all the other vehicles...or so we assume

The Town Car and Mark LT will die before they implement this look.
