1979 Mercury Cougar Convert I am a loyal FORD customer. Not all were purchased new.

Probably have actually owned one or two other Fords. Have only had trouble with one vehicle, that is the F-150 I bought in 1984. Ford vehicles are super quality and built in America.

First one was a 1973 F100 with a 390 in it. This was a unique color purple that I fondly nicknamed LUCIFER!

Leaked enough oil that I rarely ever changed it, just added more and stuck a new filter on once in a while!!

I now have a 1963 1/2 Convertible Falcon with a 289. the jury is still out on whether or not that is an original motor, but it definitely is rebuilt nicely! Runs great!!
