So you are skeptical of it? I never would have guessed. How about God?

"I am naturally a skeptic. I used to hate religion and it kept me away from God for a very long time."

I was skeptical about God and Christianity for a very long time. I had every excuse for why I did not believe or worry about believing or care to believe.

Peace and Blessings

Lack of EVIDENCE! May I suggest a good doctor for you and save. Both of you definitely have selective amnesia.

Do you remember this little woops? Falsifying temperature data. And what about them hockey sticks?

And we are presently in a cooling period. Even according to the UN, 1998 was the warmest year.

well 0.4 might not be much but it is something, lets see what happens the next 30yrs, until then enjoy your taxes!

Praying and believing in God is an escape from the real world and its problems. It is the equivalent of a drug or alcohol. Eventually, taken to excess, it affects your mind. Just for a moment, step away, and take a look at people performing religious rituals and chanting and talking to imaginary beings. They ain't right.

Belief and practice are two different things.

I believe, but even I am uncomfortable with someone in convulsory throws because they claim the "spirit moved them".

Speaking of taxes, your buddies at the UN want another tax. Someone needs to tell those dumb fuks that adding taxes will not revive the economy. :banghead::finger::banghead::finger:

http://www.reuters.com/article/environment...=22&sp=true

OSLO (Reuters) - Investments of $750 billion could create a "Green New Deal" to revive the world economy and protect the environment, perhaps aided by a tax on oil, the head of the U.N. environment agency said on Thursday.

Achim Steiner said spending should focus on five environmental sectors including improved energy efficiency for buildings and solar or wind power to create jobs, curb poverty and fight climate change.

"The opportunity must not be lost," Steiner, head of the U.N. Environment Program (UNEP), told Reuters of a UNEP study that will be put to world leaders meeting in London on April 2 to work out how to spur the ailing economy.

The UNEP report said investments of one percent of global gross domestic product, or about $750 billion, could bankroll a "Global Green New Deal" inspired by the "New Deal" of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt that helped end the depression of the 1930s.

Energy Secretary Stephen Chu told a congressional panel that they should consider taxing imported goods from foreign companies that don't try to limit their greenhouse gas emissions.

is this now the theology topic? i thought we had ventured to taxes, lets try and keep on topic here kids.

There is no climate crisis that man has the power to do anything about or cause. Man-made global warming is a hoax made up by the socialists to gain more government control and more taxation. They should all be shipped to Baffin Island where the climate will be more to their liking after it warms up.

I don't have to prove anything. They are the ones who have to prove global warming. They quit already because they have enough believers. Now, they are using their energy to go after some of the government's bailout money. You are just one of their pawns. I am a victim who will end up getting taxed for something that I know is a lie. It just makes me hate government with more passion. I hope that I live to see the Revolution.

The fact that you seem to be elated by such a proposition is disturbing.

Again, you have to prove something exists before any of us need to prove it doesn't. Since you have yet to prove Man Made Global Warming is legitimate, there is no need for us to prove it doesn't.

Like I said before, you have to prove the Lock Ness Monster is actually real, before anyone needs to prove it isn't.

Can you prove that ACC is made up by socialists? Can you prove that it's made up to gain more Govt. control?

I don't have much of a problem with you not believing in ACC as I do with your content conspiracy theory. I don't believe that G.W. Bush is part of some secret skull and cross bones club, I don't believe that Oswald was part of some Govt./Mafia/anti Castro conspiracy, I don't believe that our Govt. planed and carried out the 9/11 attacks. And I don't believe the ultra left wing freaks who think that G.W. Bush wanted to bring down this country, I totally disagree with almost all of his policies and his Ideology, but I think that he thought he was doing what was right for this country and think he loves this country.

You sir are a freaky conspiracy theorist!

So I ask again, can you prove that NASSA, the Royal society, the Academy of sciences, NOAA, the Meteorological society etc. wants you to live in a cave, suppress you with more govt. for lord knows why? Impose carbon tax so they can line their pockets? We are constantly told to follow the money, can you show us the path to follow the money? Do you have any proof whatsoever?

I don't really see any of this as some vast conspiracy. I just see it as politics as usual. Big government politicians see an easy in to pass new legislation that gives a lot of leeway to collect revenues under the cover of the greater good, they're going to jump on it. Climate change isn't the first time this has happened. It surely won't be the last.

British Columbia just got the tax. Obama is twisting Harper's arm to impose it federally in Canada. I know that Harper is opposed to it, but Obama has a gun to his head using bailout cash and the threat of protectionism. In Canada, the opposition has enough seats to force an election, or form a coalition and take over the government. Obama is using this to rub Harper's conservative nose in socialist shit. If he publicly opposes the Messiah, he will be branded a racist and an anti-environmental corporate lapdog. He has to follow a fine line until the US economy collapses. Then he can call an election and get a majority.
