That's fine...anyone that can look at that car and not 1) instantly be overcome with fits of projectile vomiting, or 2) bust out into uncontrollable laughter has something wrong with them. I bet Maggie & Judy in Little Britain would have a problem holding it down http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=656cXnng2QU&...feature=related 2. Don't know if she might wet herself with laughter though at the Focus. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4-UbR4vfxBc&...feature=related

inteller
The hood scoop is functional yes, just as functional as the air extractors. Racecraft...(lack of) Power in the Hands of the Many I didn't know there was such a thing as a value aftermarket brand....but Saleen proves me wrong. This thing fails it. Edited August 22, 2008 by inteller

I mentioned something similar on another thread about this car: It looks sort of like a do-it-yourself Mustang that someone left in the oven too long. In short, it looks pretty freaking tacky. Of course, the black graphics on white color scheme certainly doesn't help.

Dolphy
Hey, you're the one insisting the Cortina was a nice looking car. The Cortinas looked good for their times. But then very few designs from the '70s & '80s have aged well and look good today.
Ford Jellymoulds
Hey, you're the one insisting the Cortina was a nice looking car. Buyers just love the boring bland dull cold FWD Mondeo thats why it never makes the Top 10 in Europe like some Fords of the past never left the top 10 best selling cars in Europe. Boring bland dull cold FWD Mondeo's sales success is the main reason Ford has lost 50% market share in the UK no car has lost so many sales as the the Mondeo compared to the RWD Cortina of the past. Mondeo sells just over a quarter the cars today the Cortina used to sell, and there were only half the cars on our roads back then so its more like 1/8 of Cortina sale in todays terms. Why is that Nick? Because the Mondeo is SHIT.

Why is that Nick? Because the Mondeo is SHIT. See, that's a COMPLETE matter of YOUR personal opinion. Personally, I think the Cortina looks BORING and COLD and DULL. The Mondeo looks a million times better TO ME. See that? That's called OPINION. And as you can see, everybody has one. And no, the Mondeo does not sell 1/8 what the Cortina did because the Mondeo is shit. It sells 1/8 what the Cortina did because Ford spent much of the 80's and 90's marketing SHIT that turned people off of the brand entirely. What shit was that? The Fiesta, Escort, Sierra, and all the other "non-jelly" Fords you always want to praise. Further Cortina-Mondeo Bitchfest thread derailments will no longer be tolerated from you, FJ. P71_CrownVic
Because the Mondeo is SHIT. And...yet...it is still LEAPS AND BOUNDS above anything sold here. Your Mondeo would give our Lincoln Taurus a run for it's money...and probably win.

NickF1011
The truth Hertz...for Ford NA... What the heck is that even suppose to mean? If the Mondeo was sold here, it would end up fleets just like every other Ford vehicle (and at far larger numbers than the MKS for sure). Your Mustang comment in the other thread just seals it. You hate everything Ford NA does. Is it all because they refused to upgrade your used Panther for you? Awwww.... NickF1011
Not. A. Snowballs. Chance. In. Hell. Right. The Mondeo doesn't sell to fleets at all in Europe. It's 100% retail because it's such a popular car. It would have a 10 month waiting list if it was sold here. :yup:

The Mondeo may sell to fleets, but it wouldn't be anywhere near the 48% fleet like the Taurus, or 32% fleet like the Fusion. or even 17% fleet like the Mustang.
