What about tuxedo wearing lesbians?:stirpot:

An old cowboy sat down at the bar and ordered a drink. As he sat sipping his drink, a young woman sat down next to him. She turned to the cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

He replied, "Well, I've spent my whole life, breaking colts, working cows, going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves, bailing hay, doctoring calves, cleaning my barn, fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy."

She said, "I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about women. When I shower, I think about women. When I watch TV, I think about women. I even think about women when I eat. It seems that everything makes me think of women."

The two sat sipping in silence.

A little while later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

He replied, "I always thought I was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian."

More Sprayslobber. "Complete failure"? The Obama administration has been in office less than 18 months. A little premature, but then again, you don't appear to have a long attention-span. :hysterical:

Successive governments have brought us to this crisis. We are now at the end of our rope. It is up to the present administration to move us in the right direction. They have chosen to continue on the same road to ruin, but at a faster pace. Even if we are successful in borrowing our way to a comfortable existence for ourselves, what are we leaving for our innocent grand-children? We will go down in history as the most selfish generation in the history of mankind.

You believe that you are entitled to free health care? Are your grand-children obliged to pay for your "entitlements"? What are they entitled to? They will be lucky if there is still a civilization for them to live in after we have taken all of our entitlements.

Ok, so if Bush added 2.5 Trillion to the debt in his 8 years (including 2 wars), and Obama (by his own numbers) is poised to add twice that much (in less time), what exactly are you defending?

Check your BS-meter.

Why is this always the response every time Obama gets caught in a lie?

At what point are you going to stop blaming the other guy for Obama's failures?

When is "Change" going to happen in DC?

Why does the left constantly bring up Fox, but never make mention of MSNBC?

Complaining about the 2 wars is ignorant, and cowardly. Sure, neither has gone the way they were expected. But just because your diet hasn't worked as quickly as you wanted it to, doesn't mean you give up and start eating at McDonald's again. The reality is, the wars were approved but the majority of members from both parties. Blame Bush all you want, but many on the left voted for it. And even though they have the power to end both of them right for the last three years, no move has been made from the left to do so.

As well, something that was mentioned by plenty of us before, we were never happy with some of the spending Bush did. But the unmistakable reality is, Bush is out of Office. The Republicans don't have control of the Government anymore (unlike when Clinton was in power and things in DC went well). Stop whining about the milk on the floor. It's up to the people in Washington to fix it, but instead they are just dumping more on there.

Grow up

That's the first honest journalism out of CNN I've ever seen!

Whenever I perused that station it was usually filled with

the 'Blame Bush' for [insert problem here] rants or insinuations...

WHOA!

They are starting to see which side their bread is buttered on....or maybe it is a little backfire to try and prevent their total demise. I'll stick with Fox to get the real news. In Canada, we had to fight to get Fox included in our cable package. The left-wing government agency, the CRTC blocked it from us for as long as they could. I remember watching it one night, soon after it started in Canada. I was looking forward to seeing a Rush Limbaugh interview. It went off the air just before the interview was to start. The left fears Fox. Fox tells it like it is. There is no rebuttal to the obvious proven truth. All the left can do is yap and nip at the ankles like neutered chihuahuas. The bewildered followers yap in agreement, like puppies.

Um... no.

If you ever believe Rush has made a mistake, they will put you on the top of the list. He invites all libs to call in and challenge him. They only have to be civil. I've listened to Rush for several years. I've only heard libs calling in ranting and making ludicrous claims without a real reference or logical ounce to their arguements. If you can prove him wrong, then give him a call!

BTW, to a conservative, FOX is not 'that' conservative....

Being confident in your logic isn't closed minded. He has accepted refinements to his conclusions, but I've never heard him make a completely wrong conclusion before. I've also never heard any lib call in with proof of his mistakes, even though he asks for it.

If the left was serious about shutting down Fox News, they would have their followers watch it, and call them on all of their lies. Instead, they tell them not to watch it. It is pretty hard to ignore a video of Obama saying one thing, and then another video of him saying the opposite. The other networks are too scared to call Obama a liar. They are too busy sucking up to get exclusive interviews. The trouble is, Obama watching gets tiresome and hard on the nerves after awhile. For anyone of intelligence, it is insulting. He scoffs at the middle class over their dire warnings if the health care bill passes. He made his own dire warnings over failure to pass the stimulus package, and cap and trade. According to their dire warnings over global warming, Manhatten should be under water by now. Talk about hypocracy! They don't have to worry too much about losing the "intelligent" vote. They never had it.

Actually a study in 2006 by the Pew Research Center revealed that listeners to Rush Limbaugh's show were more informed and more knowledgeable about current events than listeners to any other news outlet. That includes whatever liberal trash network you've been poisoning your mind with Deanh.

Fox news is no more sensationalistic than CNN and good God MSNBC is nothing but liberal sensationalism. Talk about unfounded speculation, MSNBC is the place for it. Fox is number one in the country and for a good reason, they are the most balanced media source in the country and that just drives you libs up the wall because nothing hurts liberalsm more than someone telling the truth about what it really is.

By the way I listen to Rush regularly (I know big surprise right) and I can tell you without a doubt that I despise the Jerry Springer show. Not only that but I would bet that if you took an audience poll at any of his shows you would find that most of them vote democrat if at all.

When you listen to Rush, It helps if you can ignore the terms like "socialist" or other keywords that tend to detract from the underlying point he's making. I do listen to Rush from time to time. He can sometimes get redundant and repetitive (not nearly as bad as Hannity, though).

My two favorites are Medved and Boortz. Of the two, Medved has the more intellectual demeanor. Boortz can sometimes get more provocative than most can stand.

No kidding...and talk about blandsville.

A couple of people I know met him at one of the events he puts on for charity. They say he's a really nice guy, but from what I can tell, if he's a really intelligent guy, he's lousy at projecting it.

I'm sure that most of them from both sides are nice people. I'll give them both the intelligence also because they are doing what they need to do to bring home the bacon.

No doubt they are successful, however I would not equate intelligence with income. Is there anyone here who would trade their intellect with Britney Spears'?

I don't intend to demean Hannity or those who listen to him, however I almost never come away from his show feeling enriched (as though I learned something). Hannity is very good at keeping with his theme du jour. However for me, he tends to beat it until it's not only dead, but so is my patience. I got tired of it, so I stopped listening.

Wisdom can only come from experience and, being a bit of a history buff, I appreciate people who can draw parallels between the current and historical. Medved is a master of it. Hannity seems to focus on Reagan (or the "Reagan Revolution") a bit too much, when there is so much more to history than that.

What I don't get is how the heck libs think Rush is stupid but they worship Stephen Colbert... WTH?!?!?

I'm not sure the demographics are the same with Rush and Stewart/Colbert.

People tend to call others names when they can't make a cogent counter-argument. Olbermann would be an example of this with his "Worst Person in the World".

I was trying to say he can get excessive in his critiques, and tends to use the same catch phrases over and over and over and............

I can't believe he has as many listeners as he does. I just find him so boring.
