Is this company-wide? Are these jackets from the Local, IUAW or Ford? Milan is in the process of sizing this week. Had no samples to look at or try on. We were told they are coming from Ford. Nothing but the TRUTH Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Vice President Settles was very adamant at the last Ford Council stating " The company did not pay 1 cent towards those Quality Jackets" The UAW approached the company to suggest that they purchase Jackets for everyone. The Company wanted nothing to do with it. The UAW then decided to fund OUR jackets with OUR portion of the joint programs fund. Make NO mistake, The Company is not getting US these jackets. I was in our local Quality/Sourcing/Transfer reps office when he got the email about the jackets, and he and our local barg. committee got right on it. Nothing said about who was paying for them. You would also know that the UAW nickle fund jackets are being fitted this week with the other jackets fitted the week of Feb. 21, 2011. What department are you assigned to?
