Detroit Mustang
1. Park with headlights off (tough for many people) 2. Turn off vehicle 3. Push audio button next to CD slot to turn on radio 4. Tune FM to Drive-In movie frequency 5. Choose Drive-In Movie wallpaper (800 x 378) as supplied by me
mysticbluebmw
Is there not an option to turn off the display while leaving the radio on? If not, there really should be, not sure how much power that big screen draws... Anyway, great idea!
linuxbatm
Haha, Never had thought about taking a touchscreen equipped car to the drive in. Although i do like your solution to the problem.
Nkempf01
The problem comes with the 1 hour timer on the radio without the vehicle running though.
akirby
The problem comes with the 1 hour timer on the radio without the vehicle running though. Only for about 2 seconds until you hit the ON button again......
Nkempf01
Only for about 2 seconds until you hit the ON button again...... Sorry, maybe its just my area of the country, but any drive in movies no one sits in the car, and they're usually double features. It's not a huge deal, I was just pointing something out, thats all. osuivan
The one in Tulsa, OK burned down last year and they had no insurance. But a bunch of people raised money for them to rebuild it, and it's in the process of being rebuilt with steel not wood.
Nkempf01
You guys need to visit Wisconsin then! We have I think 5 drive in theatres still. 3 I know for sure are still up and running, the other 2 I'm not 100% positive on.
