ice-capades
Does any one know the time difference from 0 to 60 . 3.31:1 vs 3.73:1 2012 GT Convertiblele The only rear axle available on the GT Convertible (6-Speed Manual) is the 3.31 ratio. The 3.55 and 3.73 ratios are optional on the GT Coupe's only!

The 3.55 and 3.73 ratios are optional on the GT Coupe's only! how about adding your own? i've got a friend, taking delivery of a premium v6 convertible soon, and he's looking to install 3.73's. physically, i can easily do this for him, as i've set up dozens of rears, from 650hp dragsters on down to 150hp grocery getters. how will i correct for the speed reading? is it still a simple change of drive/driven gears on the tranny, or does it now get done in the ecm? thanks!! john

ClutchTime
You'll need a SpeedCal box or a tuner now.
Blowe
Any info on the time difference (0-60 mph) for the stock 3.31:1 vs 3.73:1 for a 2012-2014 GT Coupe? I'm guessing the 3:73's should be quicker off the line but not sure how much of a difference that will have in the 0-60 time?
NickF1011
You'll drop a tenth or two 0-60. Nothing incredibly noticable, but it's a pretty cheap mod for the results. I went from 3.27 to 4.10 in my Cobra shortly after buying it. It was definitely noticable but not mind-blowing.

I would assume any tuner would be able to handle it.
