This man has no clue to what this membership wants or needs, he's only thinking of his own best interest and not the memberships. If this contract was any good it would pass on it own merits and it wouldn't take $10,000 to get a yes vote. How does it feel all you people that voted yes ???? And for what a paltry $10,000, we gave up more than that in the past 8 years. Wow... only ten grand can buy a vote is that all you people ar worth?? And what about the intimidation & threats that are coming form OUR union for a yes vote, lets thank jimmy settles for turning this into a three ring circus and for the back stabbing thats taking place, is that a way to treat a brother or a sister by back stabbing them???? Please resign now and save face and take your 2 $100,000 a year assistants with you. Oh by the way all you people that negotiated this contract your time is coming to!!!!!! Its funny its always the yes voters that cry and whine later after they pass shit like this and when the real contract starts coming out,you know the parts of the contract that you dont see,you here them all day,complaining and talking about how our union sucks and cant do anything. Youll see once you pass this shit and the real truth of the contract starts coming out and then watch how Mulally and all of management and your own IUAW and your union reps pad their pockets again and reward themselves for you suckers falling for it again. Yes Bob King and all of them get a sweet bonus for a yes vote. You yes voters are suckers. You watch the 2nd tier workers are gonna push us right out the door,Mulally knows what he is doing. They should of never aloud the 2nd tier,that was the start of the fall of our union. Bob King just agreed to let Chrysler have unlimited number of 2nd tier workers. Do you have any clue what that just did? Our union brothers and sisters will be pushed out the door there and Gm and Ford will want to open this contract up in the middle of it and demand the same and use that they need to stay competitive. Suckers.. do you yes voters even really look up and study imfo on your union,actually stay in touch with the economy on your own or do you just listen to what your union reps tell you and what the news and tv tell you and believe them???? If you did you would know why Ford and Gm is bringing work back from Mexico,China,Europe and its not nothing are union talked them into,their just taking credit for it and Ford and Gm is allowing them to to get it passed. Our union is screwing us and you know it but yet you vote yes on getting screwed. I would also be asking for the resignation of Bob King and Jimmy Settles. They want us to pay not for Ford Veba short falls but that of the others. This is called conversion in the legal community. Former MTP'er Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 I agree with most of what folks in the vote NO crowd have had to say, but the reality is, the union started us on the slippery slope of givebacks and stagnated wages in '07. Once the company realized they could bend the IUAW over, they haven't looked back. Unless King, Settles and the rest of the IUAW all decide to fade away and we get a new, ELECTED group of negotiators, there isn't a damn thing we can do to try and turn back the clock and undo the damage done over the last 4 years.
