IPSONDN1
JUST RECEIVED MY 2013 ESCAPE SEL 2.0. GREAT VEHICLE BUT EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS ALL NEW ESCAPE DOES NOT HAVE L.E.D. LIGHTS FOR THE BRAKE,TAIL,OR TURN SIGNALS. THE EXPLORER HAS THEM,& MOST VEHICLES NOW INCORPORATE THEM IN THEIR CARS. EVEN FOREIGN VEHICLES (KIA-TOYOTA ETC.) UTILIZE L.E.D LIGHTING. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD TIME TO UTILIZE THEM IN THE 2013 ESCAPE.
NickF1011
You'll find that most smaller vehicles on the market today still do not incorporate a full array of LED lighting. My Edge doesn't have rear LEDs either. As long as the reflector pattern is pleasing, I'm okay with it for now. It's one of those design elements that are in transition, much like projector headlights. Some vehicles have em now. More will in the future. lost1
yup i know leds are all cool and such and they hardly ever burn out, BUT if they do the replacement cost is HUGE. I personally would rather replace a 2 dollar light bulb
transitman
This guy has a new Escape that it seems he likes and his first post is in the Ford: Wish List thread complaining about rear led's, in all CAPS??? I don't think he'll be around much. I agree, not a big deal, hid headlights are more important.
Ron W.
Look on the bright side, when one or more of the bulbs goes out it'll $2 or $3 for a bulb instead of spending who knows how much to replace the assembly.
IPSONDN1
TRANSITMAN, I ALWAYS USE CAPS ONLY (AT MY AGE THEIR EASIER TO SEE) IF PEOPLE DON,T LIKE IT THATS TO BAD. I THOUGHT THIS FORUM WAS FOR FREELY EXPRESSING ONES OPINION, ALTHOUGH THE FILAMENT TYPE BULBS ARE NO BIG DEAL, I STILL BELIEVE THE ALL NEW ESCAPE SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED L.E.D,S. Ron W.
Use caps if you need to but on internet forums it's considered YELLING.. Perhaps you could change the size or bold your words to help you see.

Escapism
I think the Kuga has the LED tail lights. I wonder if it would be a plug-and-play item if I somehow got one from ebay overseas? Is the Kuga assembled in Germany? That would be cool to have 'em on my ride here in the States.
