I have noticed an exhaust smell in my 2015 Explorer and my 2016 Grand Caravan but it only happens on both of them after WOT . I guess I am going to have to run a test on both of them with the rear AC turned off to see what happens then.

I have a 2005 ZX4 with ABS,, it has rear drum brakes. I did a brake service on it at 50,000miles and replaced the front pads and rotors myself. The rear DRUM brakes had plenty of meat left on the shoes so I did not replace them.

So my daughter and son in law and two grand children ages 2 and 4 were running errands christmas eve in their 2005 Focus ( they left the 2010 Flex at home) and they are hit broadside by an SUV that ran a red light. My daughter who was driving said she saw the vehicle at the last moment sped up to try to get out the way .The Focus took the hit just behind the rear door on the passanger side and spun the vehicle around a couple of times. The Focus was bent enough to jam both passenger doors shut but they all were ok ,just lots of bruises for everybody. When I bought her the Focus in 2005 I remember going over the crash test ratings for the Focus and the sedan had better side impact ratings then the hatchback, that is why she got the sedan. When buying a vehicle, crash test ratings are important as well a buying the best childrens car seats available even if they are expensve. They just spent the last two weeks looking for a replacement car that got good MPG and fit 2 carseats in the back ( their focus was a little tight). They looked at the new focus but the back was too tight and the Fusion which they liked. They also test drove the Hyundai Elantra ( good back seat room, noisy) did not drive as well as the Focus and the Sonata ( good size but very noisy inside) The Hyundai dealers are also not wanting to come down very much on price . They went back to Ford and got a very good deal ( less expensive than a comparable Sonata) on an SE Fusion with the 2.5 I4 and automatic. This car thay say drives much better and is more refined then the Hyundai Sonata.

yup i know leds are all cool and such and they hardly ever burn out, BUT if they do the replacement cost is HUGE. I personally would rather replace a 2 dollar light bulb

I still cannot figure out why GM stock is always valued about double what the F stock is. GM for the year is about 100K cars ahead of F ,but I dont think that justifies being worth double.

I rented a 2012 Altima for 5 days last week. This car had 1900 miles on it and it did not compare with my 2010 Fusion. Driving dynamics, interior, noise ( speaking of noise I thought the engine was low on oil as it ticked very loud until it was warmed up). I just dont see why this thing sells as well as it does.

Should make parking easier because it will be easier to judge where the front of the vehicle is.

I have been sitting in front of my laptop all morning going from one website to another to see and read all I can about this vehicle. I have two voices speaking to me, one saying "just be happy with your 2010 Fusion SEL and let it go" and another saying "screw it you only live once get yourself a Titainium AWD.

I bet a lot of buyers (myself included) did not even consider the SE and bought an SEL because of those wheels. Ford may have hit on a way to upsell the Fusion without realizing it.

In the last two days here in NC I have seen 5 new Focuses (Foci), three were red hatchbacks and two sedans green, blue. Judging by how the online inventory of several local dealers has shrunk I am thinking that Ford may want to go three shifts at their plants to keep up with demand , this is looking great for ford. I drive all around NC and keep an eye out for all new model cars and I have seen a Ton of new Fusions ( i have a 2010 SEL). I have only seen 1 Cruz and 1 new Jetta in the last week.

I was just checking some of the Hyundai forums and it seems that the new Elantra does not come with a spare tire, you only get a small compressor and a can of tire sealant. There is also no insulation pad under the engine hood.

I have had a 06,08,and now a 2010 Dodge minivan as company vehicles. I found the on dash gear selector a little weird at first but now I dont even notice the difference.

My daughter went to Duke,( no I am not rich). When she was accepted there the school gave her grants and scholarships to make my out of pocket the same as UNC down the road. The students would camp out for weeks outside Cammeron stadium to get into the Duke/ Chapel Hill game. Coach K had food delivered to these kids and he and the team would go out and visit them in their tents. Coach K is class act.

I was washing my SEL the other day and I noticed that the bottom edge of all 4 doors are not creased all the way closed like the side edges of the doors. Can anybody check their cars to see if they are the same. I worry that this might cause a future rust issue.

2010 SEL 2.5 auto, 1100 miles, averaging 27mpg in normal local/highway driving without even trying. I have achived 33mpg in one trip that was all hwy 70 to 80 mph with AC on all the way.

Does anyone know if Ford has this feature on any of their FM radios??
