gdn
So who has the info on what's changing with the 2014 models? This is the most I've seen - http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/52930-2014my-fusion/ Even getting the very first 2014 car off the line you're looking at August before delivery. Toz
I have no idea if anything is changing for the '14's. Just be nice to get a new car that isn't at the end of it's model year before it's even built.
jared6788
I was tempted to wait until 2014, but if I get my car by the end of April having the car for a few extra months will be worth it IMO. We're only on this planet once, so may as well enjoy it as much as possible.
Pers69
Nothing predicts future performance like past performance. I would be surprised to see Ford adhere to the quoted '14 production dates for the Fusion.
fusionTX
Anybody with a build date of Mar 18 get a window sticker yet?

okaydave
So, have any Hybrid TI been rolled off the assembly line yet?
Toz
So, have any Hybrid TI been rolled off the assembly line yet? yes, there have been some random ones showing up in dealer lots. I forget what post they were in, but one of the forum members even got to test drive one. Edited April 15, 2013 by Toz

wazzul
My wife and I just went for another test drive in a Hybrid and she complained about her ears popping.we were wondering if that could be caused by the active noise cancellation? Has anyone else had this happen?
Pers69
Never noticed anything like that on my test rides nor heard of similar experiences on the forums.

Has anyone else had this happen? Was it a white Fusion and did you go over a cliff like in the commercial
murphy62
It may be the sudden pressure increase when the doors are slammed shut. If that is the case, opening a window before closing the doors will avoid the pressure increase.
wazzul
Was it a white Fusion and did you go over a cliff like in the commercial Deep Impact Blue and no, no cliff. Although my wife was driving so I suppose I got lucky this time... Thanks for the responses hadn't heard about that anywhere and we've been I'm 3 or 4 had powered Fusions without her noticing anything. I'm sure it was nothing probably something she had all day but didn't notice until she was completely comfortable, the kind of comfort that can only be achieved while driving a 2013 Fusion. Diamondjjc
Are all these cars still being built in Mexico or have they started the Flatrock production? Diamondjjc
Diamondjjc
By all these cars, I meant the Fusion Titanium hybrids. Diamondjjc
47Minutes
Production is still all in Mexico. 2014MY may have some production moved to Flatrock.
BadHorseChorus
They're being built in Mexico. Mine rolled off the line on April 2nd and arrived by train in Masschusetts on April 13. I'm just waiting for it to get trucked to my dealer so they can prep it and install the Lo-Jack before I take delivery. Next week, I hope :-)
akirby
FlatRock production starts in August.
neod192
Last I heard, Flat Rock is only going to build gas Fusions.
akirby
Correct. At least that was the plan last I heard. MKZ and hybrids stay in Hermosillo.
