30 OTT 6
Looks like the S550 Mustang rear suspension will be derived from the Integral Link Independant Rear Suspension (ILIRS) from the CD4 platform (Fusion, MKZ). http://www.mustang6g.com/?p=574 The old control blade just couldn't cut it. jpd80
One of the design parameters for the new Integral link suspension was the need to take a 21" wheel, something current CB IRS couldn't do. Also packaging the control blade arms in the Mustang's tight confines while not impossible was always going to be challenging.
Deanh
I know control blade was relitively light , approx a 100 lb weight penalty if i remember rightly, how does this derivitive stack up lb wise ( oh, and jpd80, thanks for EMBARRASING out League team...although I sensed the outcome )

Rugby League yes but in Rugby Union, the all Blacks are in a league of their own... These are from Fusion but I think you get the idea...
