Richard Novak
I'd love to see the new Bronco platform being repurposed by Lincoln to carry an actual 4x4 competitor to the smaller, upscale Land Rover. Any chance of this happening?
twintornados
Lets get that new Bronco on the ground first....
J-150
Navigator is the RR/LR competitor. If you're referring to the LR3, MKC already does that. Edited December 21, 2015 by J-

No such thing in the Land Rover line up. LR4 is being replaced by a new unibody Discovery next year so there will not be a traditional 4x4 in Land Rover's line up in the US. Land Rover Discovery Sport ~ MKC Land Rover Discovery ~ MKX and MKT (well... I'm assuming there will be another one based on the next Explorer) Land Rover Range Rover Evoque ~ MKC Black Label Land Rover Range Rover Sport ~ MKX Black Label (except RRS prices goes up much further) Land Rover Range Rover ~ Navigator (in theory anyway... the next Navigator should aim high) Edited December 22, 2015 by bzcat

J-150
Maybe I'm thinking LR2. Either way, Lincoln already has competitors for LR.
J-150
Now you could make a case to go against the G Wagen.
bzcat
Now you could make a case to go against the G Wagen. Mercedes is on track to sell 3,000 units this year in the US... not a significant market for Lincoln to worry about with a clean-sheet new design vehicle.
