akirby
The only Ford product that was considered was the Mustang GT500. No 2021 F150 or Bronco Sport. Maybe because they weren't on sale yet?

I believe that the vehicle must be on sale in order to be eligible for inclusion on the list.

Yes sir akirby and grbeck, here are the criteria for 2021 Car and Driver 10 Best. The vehicle must be on sale by January 2021 Must be priced below $90,000 MSRP The manufacturer must provide an example for testing in September 2020 Only substantially changed or new vehicles and the past year's 10 best winners are nominated 2021 F-150 and Bronco Sport meet all of these except #3. Ford did not have samples of those 2 models for Car and Driver to test in September. Cadillac CT4, Cadillac CT5, Hyundai Sonata, Nissan Sentra, Toyota Camry TRD, and Toyota Highlander were tested for the 2021 10 Best competition rather than 2020 for the same reason. Even though all of those were new for model year 2020, the manufacturers didn't have samples of those cars available in September 2019 for Car and Driver to test.
