  1. Saw these fan renderings of t3 and the e -xplorer. I'm digging it, will be interesting to see how close to reality these are. I will say the T3 rendering looks like it would be better suited to something like a ranchero revival with its long hood and slanted cab back. Could be a cool truck for blurring the line between a truck and a muscle car or something.

  2. I agree, I’m not sold on the 23 redesign. I do however really like the GMs. But I’m honestly done waiting 2 years for my Platinum which is why I also just ordered the Denali and a High Country. What sold me was when I drove a 24 high Country. The update to the duramax is very impressive. I know I know… haters are going to say the ford still has more horsepower and torque. But all I can say is drive one. The duramax is every bit as responsive as the powerstroke. They did it right with the Duramax update.

  3. I’m waiting it out. There is no way I settle for a GM. I wouldn’t do that to myself. The look just doesn’t fit with me.

  4. No way was I trading it for an Explorer. I would be sacrificing so much cargo room behind the third row which is precious space when you have 3 kids 6 and under.

  5. For what it’s worth, and for comparison only, the Tesla Model Y can be purchased with extended range battery (still less than Ford’s 350 miles), with $3,000 optional third seat, and if priced with a hitch, red color (non white), and white interior, price jumps to $59,500 including delivery. Assuming Tesla is profitable at that +/- $60k for a Y that is similar vehicle, much improvement will be required to get price down around $40k (or even $50k) in my opinion. I mention Tesla Y because many of the needed manufacturing improvements have already been baked in.

  6. Ford price protection is a decades long policy and is automatic and applicable unless Ford issues an exception notice in advance. The Dealer Invoice and Window Sticker is created using the prices in effect at the time of vehicle production. The price protection is an internal accounting adjustment between Ford and the Dealer requiring the Dealer to submit a price protection claim.
