The entire notion of shipping batteries from the other side of the planet using fossil fuel, in order to save fossil fuel is so completely absurd. Same goes for solar panels. The greatest single thing you can do, if you believe (which I don't) that humans are destroying our planet, is buy as much as you can locally. And don't buy foreign, even if you think you need it or want it. Funny, I don't believe in humans causing global warming, but I am doing more for the environment by avoiding imported goods, than the virtue signaling, ultra conspicuous Libs that are driving their imported Prius's and putting up Chinese solar panels on their roofs. Growing up all I heard was 'foreign oil is BAD!" But now, becoming completely enslaved to 'foreign' alternative sources of energy is somehow 'good'. Please help me understand how trading one critical foreign energy dependency is different than another critical energy dependence? And please do not try and tell me China is not our enemy.

How are the Chinese batteries going to be transported to the US for Assembly into GM Electric vehicles without fossil fuel? Batteries will be assembled here you say? How are all the Chinese components and rare earth minerals required to assemble batteries here in the USA going to be transported without fossil fuel? So Trans Oceanic cargo ships are going to be powered by battery? All those amps and all that water...sounds like a real nice combination for disaster. Military ships are powered by electricity - generated by nuclear energy. Are we promoting nuclear power nation wide? Reprez- got any 'we have to save the planet from ourselves" spin on this? For those who may not have thought about it, trans oceanic shipping is one of most highly polluting activities on the planet. In other words, It is highly likely that transporting a single Prius from Japan to the USA on a vessel causes more pollution than if you didn't drive a hybrid vehicle.

I don't know anyone (except a politician) who thinks that towing 6000 lbs of RV, through the San Raphael Swell with nothing ahead or behind you for a few hundred miles powered only by Chinese batteries is a good idea. Of course the long term Green New Deal means the Great American Road Trip is no longer possible.

I've been watching the CDC numbers, and if you have to, then you know all the way up to mid-October 2020 the numbers were pretty much in line with recent years, even just slightly lower, then suddenly boom! - the CDC changed everything and 'estimated' that deaths would top 3,000,000 and the data suddenly began to reflect that estimate. No need to show me, I have been watching the strange movement of data. From my research, they are adding the number of deaths 'among' CCP Wuflu >300,000 to the 2019 total figure and 'suggesting' that as an estimated number of deaths in 2020.
