  10. Congrats to Ford. While a truck builder was judging a Ford truck bed for not holding up to a task no truck user would employ, Ford took a truck engine, a V6, put it in a car and spanked that same truck makers sports car with a big V8 by over 5 laps in France.

  12. I think the issue with MPGs with the Escape Hybrid vs C-Maxis aero....
  13. Every owner that I have met LOVES their C-Max. All of us who actually drive our cars like a Hybrid are getting at least the 47 or better. After the 1st year we were around 45 MPG'sand on our 3rd year we are above 50 on all trips. I can not explain why but our mileage keeps getting better, I suppose it is the info from the hybrid system helps us improve our driving technique... As for the Prius we would not change for free if we had to drive the Prius, we wanted the higher seating position for line of sight and in/egress.. only negative for our C-Max is the turning radius, could and should be much smaller.
  14. we had waited on the 'new' Escape'; Kuga, as we wanted a high seating position vehicle. We had already selected all the options we wanted on our Escape SEL, just needed to pick the color when the C-Max arrived. The 47, 47, 47 caught our eye and we drove one and is actually an Escape with different top hat but much, much MPG for the same price so NO on the Escape Hybrid. If you think the Escape Hybrid has similar MPG you need to review the data, not close.
  15. anecdotal evidence here, my wife and I love our 2013 C-Max SEL Hybrid and thankful it was built. We are now averaging better than 48 MPG since purchase with almost 45K miles. So 1 very satisfied customer here...... You just became my least favorite poster here, well since chevy left....

  18. worked with a guy about 7 years ago who bought one and I called it that. He was a good guy and really did not care so he just laughed it off. Late I began to think about what he could have done considering he was a half foot taller and weighed about 60 lbs more and 30 years my jr. Like I said, he was a good guy..
  19. with the continued effects if climate change it appears that predicting snow on past results will be less accurate...
