I just got done watching that DVD set myself, if anybody hasn't seen that in years. Find it and watch it. Also had an uncredited role in "Moving Violations" which was a funny movie in itself. The movie remake from the 1990's stunk. I'm a fan of the original 1960's series.

Couldn't agree more. Lets face it. The college education system is just another ponzi scheme racket to begin with. What's with all these public universities hiking tuition rates year after year after year? Build more useless, underutilized buildings and keeping a bunch of deadbeat "tenured" staff on the payrolls? While gouging the students with those tuition costs, and college loans they are forced to pay back?! Getting that college degree and not even finding a job? There is trouble on the horizon and when the shit hits the fan at some point down the road it won't be pretty any way you look at it. The public schools are in no better shape either. Same shit, different path. But this time, they'll think of ways of raising taxes, yes... This is being discussed in Michigan's legislature to raise the sales tax a penny or two just to allocate that 1 or 2% hike and use that money toward "education". Excuse me, but where have been the revenues in the lottery being going the past 40+ years? Same reasons, keep unqualified, useless "tenured" employees sucking off the teet of the taxpayer, etc, etc... In my opinion, if you are not actively participating in the educational realm of things, Why should the taxpayers continue to be forced to pay for this when in some areas the school districts have been dissolved, on the verge of a takeover due to incompetence. What's going on here? It should be strictly based on an "opt in or opt out" basis and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less, no questions asked, no explanation given.

As far as I'm concerned it's become too much of a free (courtesy of taxpayers) advertisement for them. Even some of the spectators at the cruise have this overriding, condescending arrogant attitude that if you're not driving anything but a GM vehicle it doesn't matter. Frankly, if it's come to this point. In my opinion; it's time to shut it down for good. I'm sick and tired of seeing the same parade of Chevelles, Camaros, and Corvettes at every car show anyway.

Thanks for the compliment. Living in the real world outside of academia and not protected by that educational bubble does wonders. Being a 9-5 robot and slave creates a negative routine. Just like driving the same route to work during "rush hour", lot of people don't know alternate routes, which elevates their stress levels when commuting!

Yeah, I miss my 1988 I had... Titanium (champagne color) Silver with a black carriage top. Digital dash, leather seats. Drove like a dream, with class. Got 28mpg on the highway also.
