  1. "Lets not spin the issue here, I do have issues but a perception of the status quo is not one. I see exactly what happens. Wealthy in many cases because of write offs pay little or nothing by way of % of their income! Me on the other hand, I have to pay nearly 30% annually. Now if their was no income tax than I would only pay when I buy something, sounds like a good way to maintain a savings and investment account to me!" The wealthy take advantage of tax write offs available in the system. You should take advantage of them too and quit complaining. Did you know that FORD MOTOR COMPANY paid nothing in income tax in 1976, the bicentennial ? Ford is a hell off a lot wealthier than most people, so does that make Ford bad ?
  2. "But unlike the Aveo-5, Chevrolet has no plans to sell the 3-door Aveo in the U.S."
  3. Furious1Auto: "Why when it would be replaced by excise tax that cannot be avoided by tax write offs, this means everyone will pay their fair share and the rich with crafty accountants would not skate leaving the middle class to fund our government with higher %'s of their income!" First, you seem to paint all rich people as devious, crafty, unfairly anointed with white collar jobs, ripping off the general populous, or lastly out to get you personally. You sincerely have hatred issues, I think. Second, see this: http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/wayoflife/0...e.ap/index.html If you squeeze the upper middle classes, they won't buy Ford, they'll buy used. Used doesn't mean anything to Ford Motor Company but it means everything to -your- job and income.

  6. LM -- Wasn't that the main thrust for Buick's marketing circa 2001 ?
  7. Who wrote that book ? I will assume it is this: http://www.amazon.com/Car-American-Workpla...325&sr=1-11 Car: A Drama of the American Workplace (Paperback) // Mary Walton ? Thanks for the heads-up!
  8. It would primarily require the wiring to be there, is my guess. I just fear it might mean taking apart the door to find out. I figure Ask your dealer to see if its possible.
  9. We all know that's not the 2012 Fusion, but I had to say: Looks surprisingly Australian.
  10. It's that grille on the Explorer America concept... -- why fill it with a flat piece of metal ?? Why why why?? http://autoshows.ford.com/194/2008/01/13/s...y-display-ford/
  11. Did anyone notice the Crown Victoria was still listed as a vehicle for sale in the consumer-oriented MyFord Magazine ?
  12. Ack! Get that SuperDuty away from my eyes!! Never liked the newest SD, and I don't think I ever will. Change the headlight arrangement, and I might be more receptive.
  13. Do not copy and paste full articles per the DMCA.
  14. Welll..... Ford will soon be making a profit as far as Mulally's plan. It doesn't equal the same high sales levels, but it will mean financially being in the green.
  15. Ahhhh dammit they're going to directly lift and copy the Fusion ? Come on!!
  16. You live in the breadbasket of Canada, IIRC. You haven't seen crime in the same sense as what goes on in America.
  17. I concur. I cannot think of a single person who would buy the Explorer presented as a recent concept car.
  18. Notice they have GPS as an innovation. As for the narrator, give us a second clue here....
  19. I don't get one red cent out of those programs. If you have a medical need, why would someone sue you ?
