  1. No, no, no. That was 23 (Smiley Face). Clearly they didn't mean 230 MPG.
  2. One does not have to be out to far "in the sticks" to not have access to broadband internet.
  3. It's no more a GM than a Jaguar or Land Rover is a Ford. I'm not saying it wasn't designed or engineered by GM. It is no longer a GM by the fact that GM sold the brand. It's really not that hard to comprehend. As someone with a preference for domestic vehicles, it would have been nice to see GM just kill SAAB, and transition the 9-5 to Buick (Maybe it helps that I cannot stand Buicks current styling direction)
  4. I agree, the GMT900 SUVs are great looking. I was trying to convince the wife on a used black Tahoe when we got the Flex. She couldn't fathom spending so much on a used vehicle... The black Yukon Denalis are awesome. Don't care for the overwrought Escalades though. I do think the Tahoe/Suburban front end would have helped the Silverado in the looks department anyway. Now, a Raptor Expedition? I don't think you could get better than that.
  5. What does a corvette have to do with a Falcon Ute? You'd think people would've learned about net car show hotlinking by now.
  6. No, it WAS a GM. Yes, I know the cars lineage. GM sold SAAB for pennies. I'd rather see this design theme survive at GM than the countless Chinese Buicks we're getting stuck with.
  7. LOL. You mean like they've fixed Social Security? You seem to have a lot more faith in politicians than I do.
  8. Would you rather have a 401(k) or a Pension? Just like the majority of us with 401(k)s look back wishing for the days of company provided pensions, some day we all will be on Obamacare and remember fondly what it was like to have good insurance. Universal medicine is about quantity, not quality.
  9. I had one parked next to me a few weeks back. Very well executed car. From the back I'd have thought it was a jag. Too bad it's not a GM.
  10. Have you seen it? The thing looks like a Neon with a LuCrosse front end.
  11. Who gave them the waivers? It certainly couldn't have anything to do with the politicians not wanting bad press for their socialist agenda prior to the election. I believe the waivers are only good for one year, that way they can cancel insurance for their employees after the election, but well enough before the next presidential election.
  12. Is it just me, or does the front remind you of a pre-2005 Mustang?
  13. Is the Grand C-Max longer than the Mazda5? We tried to look at a Mazda5 and I literally did not fit, no way to get enough legroom.
  14. The difference is kids. How many people are trying to get their two year old and four year old into their carseats in the Transit Connect?
  15. Are you saying the Mark X and Crown are the size of the IS? AFAIK none of those brands were ever US only. All of them were and are available in other countries. Lexus is even available in Japan now.
  16. The ones which were rebadged Lexi (Aristo or something like that), yes, but the Mark X and Crown are still in production (also according to Wiki)
  17. IS and GS are related, and share platforms with JDM RWD Toyotas. LS is on it's own platform (Though it was marketed as a Toyota in Japan before Lexus was launched there).
  18. I think he meant people who are young and appreciate high tech do not typically have the money to buy an MkX. Not that Ford has no money.
  19. I wouldn't mind the Cruze if it didn't have the awful Chevy front end. This looked much better if you ask me (It's the Daewoo front end w bow-tie) I wish the Volt looked like that too
