    Thats been done before and the V-8 will always win the buyers if the hp is relatively the same (especially if the turbo 6 costs more). I thought the 5.0 was going in the F-150 too. What other rear wheel drive application would the turbo 6 be in?

    No V-6 for me either...I don't care if the v-6 is faster or turbo 4. Mustang GT V-8 is only what interests me. I would not be against the others in any way, that just is not a "Mustang" for me. By the way, what color is your 85?

    Why are you so hung up on the Windstar name? In my mind when I think of Windstar I think of bad head gaskets, funky long drivers door, failing transmission, coarse engine and a perfect example of bean cutter Ford.

    I must be real lucky then, 141,000 on my 02 Explorer...nothing but scheduled maintenance. Waiting for the new Explorer or the New Edge to replace it with. It isn't worth anything on trade at this point so I will drive it until I see something I like well enough to part with it.

    I hope that they keep the name Scorpion to mark a new direction in diesel engines.

    My understanding is that a moonroof slides into the roof when it is opened...a sunroof would slide over the roof.

    Expedition was a premium package on the 2-dr Explorer.

    No bashing Deanh, just the facts. I have seen the Freestyle-Taurus X and Flex answer a question no one was asking. I just would like a vehicle that has close to the capability that i now have but with better gas mileage and the new greatly improved Ford interior.

    I'm with you FastTaurusSHO...my 2002 Explorer is used for camping, pulling a utlilty trailer, vacationing and I do not want the size of an Expedition. We will see, I think that I will not be able to replace my Explorer with a vehicle as capable as what I have now.

    Favorite is a tie between my 2007 Mustang GT and my 1996 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. My least favorite has to be the 1984 Mustang GT. Loved the car when it ran properly but I had a lot of trouble with the four barrel and loading up with fuel. Several trips to the dealership never resolved it.

    I agree and with International buying the GM mediums...I think this will really strain International or maybe it will be a good fit for Caterpillar...hard to say. It should be interesting, if Ford has any ambition about class 8 again, maybe they will watch this deal collapse and pick up the pieces.

    Frieghtliner is making their own engines, Paccar is in partnership with Cummins, Volvo-Mach makes most of their engines. That leaves CAT without a market for their class 8 engines.

    I am interested to here your thoughts on International making class 8 trucks for Caterpillar...think it is viable?

    Try Mequires NXT...goes on easy and is easy to remove as well. It also is very cost effective. I have used it on my GT and love it. (its Black too)
