  1. Exactly! No one can win a argument with him because of his love for the no torque Mazda 3. I mean, just ask any person to describe what a Mustang is and what a Mazda 3 is and a vast majority of people will not know what a Mazda 3 or 6 is. Whatever, it just is funny and it can be to see him realize that no one even respects a Mazda as a performance car in the same manner as a Mustang or even a older Civic. Go Mazda :happy feet:
  2. Keep it up Blackhose, your lack of comprehension and your childish manner is hilarious!! I love reading your lame Mazda 3 trash and having it handed back to you!
  3. I agree, no more alphabet letters that no one knows what they mean unless they are in the car business. Names for models.
  4. Igor, have you noticed with all of your research, the differences is rear leg room? Why is there no more rear leg room in the Flex and no three across seating?
  5. This is the "hit" car waiting to happen and it would take the market by storm!
  6. I like it...a lot! I love the interior of the new Escape. I like how the radio read out is higher on the dash so it is easier to see. I like how the front doors are larger on the supercrew too. Now if the powertrain is not the same clunky 4-spd and sluggish engine feel, then there is my next vehicle.
  7. I would guess that there is as much information in what Blue II doesn't say as to what he proclaims. If not 5.8 maybe 5.0...maybe some other engine. I find it hard to believe that a twin turbo v-6 is cost effective against a v-8. I am wondering if the 7.0 will not be in a limited edition Boss model (429)
  8. Point me to my local Ford Dealer that I may purchase it from...that is my point. Why are the other marketing channels getting the hot products and no option from Ford Division? Step up to the plate...you use to and hit home runs all the time. An idle bat never hits the ball.
  9. I want an Edge with a third row seat. Any hope for a model like this?
  10. I am not offended, the typed word is hard to understand the true meaning. I just hope that Ford does not abandoned any loyal following that they have. My generation was out of the performance car loop. The late sixty's cars were ones we all really wanted but the realities were turbo trans ams and two barrel mustang gt's. You are right, different world now but if you have a loyal following be it with SVT or Mustang or F-Series or original Taurus, don't forget how you got there and play to your strengths.
  11. I know what you mean about Ford and its performance offerings. Look at my signature, v-8 mustang, dog slow turbo coupe, too heavy cougar...just missing the sweet spot of what could have been great cars. I am all for choice, to each his own, but I just fear that Ford has a loyal following (who knows how long) for a v-8...be it as weak as some have been, and that is a market they should not turn from. I think that the ricer thing is a fad too, the Too Fast and Too Furious crowd are now excited about older muscle cars and the new Camaro and Fords answer to it.
  12. Why don't you poll any Mustang or Camaro owner and ask them if they would rather have a v-6 or a v-8? How about NASCAR with v-6 power or NHRA? I am telling you, this is a huge deal. You sound like someone who is only concerned with the performance numbers and not the sound and feel of v-8 power. Think about a twin turbo v-6 Z06? Some things just are not meant to be. I am not opposed to a v-6 at all but as a performance model (in a Mustang) v-8 define the pony car. The Super Coupe was a better performing car than the v-8 T-bird but everyone wanted a v-8.
  13. I hope the third row initial legroom measurement were a typo, too large of a vehicle to have such a compromised third row seat. (unless the second row slides forward). Why is the Senna able to offer a eight passenger vehicle and Ford does not? Lots of soccer moms and families would like the other set of seatbelts.
  14. I had a 84 Mustang GT ordered and the dealer offered to give me a "deal" on a SVO. Boy, I wish I would have taken that deal and kept the car until now. They are quite the collector car now. I understand your point about heritage too. To each his own...I am just fond of V-8 cars.
  15. Well, let me just tell ya as a Mustang GT owner, no twin turbo v-6 as a Mustang performance car especially a Boss Mustang. Mustang is all about heritage and v-8 muscle. Remember the SVO? And get rid of this Shelby this and Shelby that. Bring back SVT in name and performance marketing. 5.4 v-8 or the new Boss engine (please use this name). This is coming from not only a Mustang enthusiast but also a Mustang owner that shows his opinion with his pocket book.
  16. Well, lets just look at the LS. No distinct styling, no advanced powertrain in order to protect Jaguar, no room inside in relation to the exterior dimensions, just a half way effort to be in a segment that was not Lincoln. And finally launch and forget. It could have been great but Lincoln was reshaped during this time and no where for the LS to fit.
  17. I bet you are right. the real cost of selling outdated products with minimal updates cannot be accounted for in the health of the brand. Peoples image of Ford vehicles are Taurus (eight year no styling changes), Focus (what is it six years and decontented), Ranger (forever same basic styling), and Crown (don't even ask). This is changing with the new product offensive but it will be a long and slow rebuild of the brand.
  18. Funny thing is...you can remove items from the bed in a Super Duty easier, with better access, than you can with a F-150. And you can see out the back of the rear window a lot better too.
  19. Did you notice the front doors on the SuperCrew? They appear to be the same size as on the Supercab. Great!
  20. It is the Super Duties with shipping issues and the Tundras with product mix problems.
