Opens up slots for the new Apple cars in a few years. Apple just bought an old Pepsi plant recently. I know they do not want an existing UAW plant when Apple starts production. If they can sell their products at FCA dealerships.. that would solve a lot of logistics issues..

Will a two gauge (tachometer / speed) IP be available on the 2017 Sport instead of the "cyclops" MPH IP. My 2014 Fusion has the two gauge IP and I prefer it over the center MPH IP cluster.

I have weather tech mats in my '11 and '14 fusion. The floor mats fit well.. but I do not like the trunk floor liner.

Make the 2.3L the base engine and replace the 3.7L with the 2.7L. Any idea if this change will happen at the mid cycle update?

lol.. 1. My Conti did have bench seats.. In fact, I like them so well I ordered it on my '16 F250 and my old '05 f350. 2. What I see in the '17 Conti is a makeover of the box looking MKS. 3. I have not looked at the specs on the two, but the '97 model seemed to have a longer and lower hood. 4. I hope the '17 sells well... but it does not beckon any passion from me to buy it. I like the MKZ much better. Maybe the coup will look better... I hope so.

As a former FWD Continental owner.. this new Continental is disappointing in the pictures I've seen. I hope it looks better in person at the Chicago Auto show next month. I have seen the '17 MKZ and like it more than the <'16 models. Of course, 400HP, 3.0L helps..lol

AWD.. if a sports car is to be taken seriously in Europe and soon in the USA.; Look for the current group of "sport cars" sold in the USA to offer AWD very soon.
