I like the idea. I really think Ford needs to take some of this approach too. I would like to spend low 20s for a F150, not alot of them around here. I still think Ford is leaving the first time car/truck buyers behind.

My problem with the new Lincoln, is you just see the same vehicle in the different models. What I mean is, could they not put some design elements that show each vehicles character? I want Lincoln to do well, I am getting alittle worried though. Not seeing much positive foward motion. This is a case for Ford keeping Mercury until they could fix Lincoln.

my two cents, that is great looking truck. and to think that customers dont cross shop f150s and rangers is very wrong. i know i do. after my 2 rangers, i would buy another if ford would just give us one like this one. make mine the same color and we have a deal.

why does everyone forget, that it is important to keep the young buyers in Ford trucks. Sure the Fiesta is a nice car. Car. What if that young person wants a smaller then F150 truck? Where is this one Ford thing? Everybody in the world gets a Ranger, but us. That just sucks, alot. You get a younger in a Ford Ranger now, he or she will go into a F150 later in life. Why does Ford just abandon the areas where they have always been the strongest. It would appear that With all the growth Ford has turned thier back on the very core of customers that have been the most loyal.

so tell me again, why we can have this and the flex, however we cant get a rangerwith the mustang enigine. do we really need this many cuv's? just some thoughts

I dont understand the numbers for Dodge.. I just drove across this great country of ours, and I sawalot of Doge Rams. Especially working trucks,,farms, and ranches.

why is this not the perfect set up for a Ranger? would that not help with volume? keep us ranger fans happy?

i am concerned that they have not decided the fate of the Ranger, this close to the end of the current model. I have owned three Rangers, loved all of them. Would like to get a new one, but I dont want a stripper F150. Too big for my needs. Please Allan, help us Ranger fans out

Sleeper Cell. A person is placed in a company for many years, and at the right time this person starts doing the bidding for thier mother country, or company as in this case. See the plan is starting to work. Ford planted this sleeper cell at chrysler. how else can you explain some of the worst decisions in automotive history.

I think that it is a very nice project. perhaps to spread cost, why not make a variant for all three makes.

upscale? except for the base and gt, everything after that is upscale. i really think we are losing some mustang customers by up pricing them. I for one would like a new mustang as my second car. however at over 35k for a gt, that is a little high. i love mustangs, always will. i will own one some form or another, as long as i am able to drive. i just would like a new one.

I dont pretend to be as smart as you guys are. However I dont see why this could not be sold here. Its already being made. If you say because of the platinum F150, I saw my first one the other day. you have to look pretty hard to see the differnce from a regular F150. Just my thoughts.

If GM is keeping Buick, I think Mercury has a place. Of course, i am biased. I grew up with Mercury.
